I don't get why people hate on KR by calling them overrated or bad in general. Kr has had the best performance throughout the year other than EU and NA (3rd in Iceland and VS 2-0 Acend and the only team to take a map off GMB in playoffs). Sure they underperformed in Champions, but if we use that context you could say SEA & LATAM>NA which is not true.

NU was the one who reached 3rd in Iceland not VS (since ur talking about 1 team being good). And that doesn't deny my point because other than NA and EU, Kr has had the best results which literally means they are a top 3 region

When you watch the games back, it just looked like NU were in flow state and hitting their shots. Their strats were horrible and V1 were just getting killed rather than team diff'd.

not at all..KR is literally known for strats. ima be honest right here any region except Japan > kr in terms of aim. I'm not sure u rmemeber but their executes with the breach+raze on A was so easy and free for them. their haven was god awful tho if that's what u mean

People don't hate KR. People just think they are overrated. Currently they only have 1 internationally competitive team that could do decently, but got eliminated in groups last time they played. And pls don't bring Nuturn here when Iceland was played ages ago and when none of the Korean teams could make it out of APAC LCQ. VS only won over shaky looking Acend (Masters 3 Acend was shaky say whatever you want), and won over some SEA teams. That's it. They haven't proved anything yet and some people still think they are good.

I hope u realise nats literally said in an interview coming into masters 3 VS was their biggest threat. And using the excuse of acend being shaky u could say VS were shaky this tournament as well. 'they haven't proved anything' they've proved more than every other region.

That doesn't mean shit. Ofc VS were supposed to be big threat when they were THE team from Korea and when they are apparently good scrim team. But couldn't deliver in actual matches. And how tf have they proved more than every other region? I would say even SEA has proved more so far. Maybe more than Brazil and Japan for sure.

did u read my post? the greatest achievement kr has had so far is 3rd in Iceland. and 2-0ing ace (#1 emea seed) + map off GMB is more than a decent showing. they simply got matched with the future Berlin's masters.

who even cares about M3 that is one tournament. in the most important tournament of the year simply they did worse than SEA and were hyped up to the 1st in their group. what's your excuse for their performance at champions? tons of Lan on stage experience at Korea challengers tons of scrims but still couldn't even make it out of groups. what a good team

to add to the sea point, sea scrims with kr a lot right. teams like prx have stated VS to be the best team they've ever played and TS dupstep put VS as a top 2 team. clearly VS > sea teams

'Iceland was long ago' we are talking about region performance so it's very valid. that's like saying BR isnt the the best nation at football because they haven't won a WC in years. Don't even bring lcq into this lmao. do you really think an online tournament which hosts the entirety of apac with soem teams reaching 60+ ping is a legitimate indicator of which teams are better.

Korea is overrated because people see Korea as a major region when in reality they are not. But I think they did really good considering the shitty format and player base. If Korea did have a player base like na or eu I think they would dominate val easily.

I dont think KR got that much hate compare to BR, SA, and JP. People said they are overrated because fans hyped them so much and then the reality they didnt perform that good like what people expected.
