Rn there is still a lot of argument between the 2 sides of S1mon/EDG and unclear who is telling the truth but I will say this:

Many coaches/players have come out and said EDG are horrible to scrim against because they never take it seriously-so when S1mon brings up how others dont try in prac its not unfounded

Tbf to the players-when a team deals with something its best to have a pr response-you can see this by all their responses being made at the same time. Its hard to say really what is going on behind the scenes

normally that pr response comes from the coach/manager not from the players and its always are very vague response. seeing 4 of them go into specific details regarding the situation seems odd to me.

tbf tho i dont know the extent of the hate going around so take my opinion with a grain of salt

The edg players are getting straight up harassed by simon's fans and smoggy's address was leaked. Simon himself leaked incomplete chats to paint edg in a bad light. Idk what you were expecting but that was a perfectly reasonable response

tbf they were getting jumped by the S1mon fans and he was leaking chats and shit so ofc they had to come out and defend themselves. Smoggy even got doxxed by one of S1mon's fans. If you don't present your side of the story in detail it will just invite more speculation from fans who may or may not go overboard.

He condoned a lot of harrassment and hate speech towards the team. I think there is every reason to scrutinize him.

Elevated have said that EDG on 1st scrim got destroyed by GE and feels like a Tier 3 team.
However on the 2nd scrim GE got completely decimated and feels like the champs winning form EDG.

Where did you hear this? Every single pro Ive seen talk publicaly so far have only praised EDG, and saying how hard working each member is.

Also from the edg shorts with prx, that at least they are super happy with scrims they play
