"Certain" edg fans ... not all of them ... yes we were sceptical about the changes .. but this jieni7 guy is genuinely what edg needs in terms of flexibility.... were there better choices? Yes. Did edg try to pick up tier1 players? No. So yes the frustration is there especially since toronto wont be a huge tournament like champs where jieni7 can grow as a player... but i hope he gets there

EDG and other cn teams like BLG are focusing on developing their own talent that they trust to fulfil the needs of their team. People freaking out about them not signing ppl with hype and aura has been proven faulty time and time again. S1mon literally proved the same people wanting him to stay wrong back when he initially joined. getting jieni7 is literally the best thing EDG could've done lol

thats fair ... they are doing pretty good but i do not expect them to win straight away specially bcoz EDG will probably be #1 seed from CN and they will start straight in masters playoffs and i wont be surprised if they bomb out like shanghai (unless they get shit opponents). Champs should be their target and by that i mean not just do good but defend their title
