CIS have to be united with EU

If Riot again make CIS separate region it's scene gonna die. Majority of CIS gamers hate Riot games for making better MOBA game than their beloved DotA. I dont know how many years have to pass untill this stupid "crusade" against league and Riot would be over. Without interest from kids there wont be any fresh blood for esports. Teams will face stagnation and will slowly become tier 3-4 trash.
On the other hand if Riot make CIS teams play in EU it will be great motivation for current teams and for future players who want to become pro. And CIS players are Really talented in FPS games and have huge legacy. No one can deny that. Right now Gambit could maintain top 5 EU spot easily and Forze could be top 10. Other teams have potential too, may be with some tournament experience or just reshuffles.

Why Im not including TR here? Lets be honest Turkey went all in on Valorant. I believe its most popular game in Turkey already. Surpassed LoL and CSGO. TR scene is huge and talented as well. All they need is to hire some EU specialists like analysts and coaches. And in no time TR would be competitive internationally even if they would be separate region.

i think u should include TR to unite with EU ans CIS, their scene is one big DM with outdated meta. they should play with EU and CIS, but it's rito games and they won't do this :)

Outdated meta and game sense is something that can be fixed on its own with time and hard work. Especially if u have huge player base to make selection. It is exactly whats wrong with CIS being isolated - very tiny player base.

CIS love fat people (GabeN) because it remind them of their father. Unless GabeN personally come out to ask people to play Valorant, the CIS wont play it. Counter Strike (or any Valve game) will always be a favourite for CIS over the non Valve counterpart

It actually have nothing to do with Gaben. People hated lol before DotA 2 came out. Its just baby duck syndrome, CS and DotA was popular in CIS beloved internet caffe era(2000-2010) thus players still praise these games and refuses to play something new. CIS population really hates everything new

The point is CIS deserved a free spot at Worlds for the Albus Nox Luna performance in 2016 and instead of that Riot gave it to Vietnam just because of viewers. Sometimes Riot It's trash.

Dota fans have reasons to hate league other then it just being another moba. Theyre dumb but they exist basically League dev tried to kill the dota scene a few times, he owned the biggest dota forum ran league ads on it whilst removing all the dota stuff. He had helped devlop Defense of the Aincients so tried to sue valve for Dota copyright. Its relatively well documented if you google it. (worth noting what he did to the forum meant new players couldnt install updates and stuff)

Dota majors have great prizepools too.
Viewership really doesn't mean anything when your flagship tournament is about as interesting as watching paint dry. TI has always been way more interesting.

Maybe people aren't delusional, maybe they're just playing the game they enjoy playing instead of blindly playing the game that's popular in USA.

I think CIS teams can play in Eu tournaments just as Europe ones can play on Turkey an CIS if they want to. I think the only restriction is that you can't have circuit points on another region, and obviously the ping. I think the rest is up to them

Cis will not play valorant because valorant is made by the company that created moba which turned out to be better than dota and the only way to save cis valorant is to merge it with eu. Makes perfect sense.

It actually make sense. Small minority of players still want to play valorant and want to become pro. This wouldnt be enough to sustain separate CIS league. But it would be valuable addition to EU. Because CIS have alot of talented players and in general huge FPS legacy. And another fact - CIS players rarely care about domestic leagues and find much more motivation on international scene.

Ok, I get that and completely agree. It makes sense to merge eu and cis especialy as there are not many relevant cis teams. That would definitely increase motivation, competition level, etc and overall would be possitive to everyone. Riot can easily make cis seperate in future if there are many teams. EMEA should work as a region itself. It makes no fucking sense to make EMEA finals with actual relevance while deciding the slots and all the stuff. They played online, TR v EU, TR v CIS and CIS v EU so there is no point about ping and servers. If Riot merged CIS and TR teams into EU qualifiers then nobody would complain if 8 TR teams reached the finals.

And that would be great for TR and CIS aswell, CIS because of the slots and Turkey because they would start to get deep in terms of strats and eventually becaming the beast they are meant to be.

TDLR, qualifing to Masters through EMEA makes the 3 region system completely useless.

I agree, but dont think they will do that. This will just show how weak CIS and TR are, and people will get discouraged and game and esports scene will get less popular in those 2 regions. No one want to tune in every week to watch their region getting spanked.

There is no stupid 'crusade' against riot and people play Dota because they like it. Just because they don't play the game you like doesn't mean that they're upset at riot. Dota is just a more engaging and competitive game, not to mention the better esport by a mile.

Look at the number of views and popularity of the game compared to league. Dota ppl just cant accept league because they spent so much time learning the mechanics that they think anything different is worse, to justify their time spent learning some arbitary mechanics that dont translate to other games/skills
