No disrespect to VS, but VS is literally holding Korea hostage by not selling off Lakia or letting him go to a team that competes with them.

The one map Lakia played, he did pretty well.

Plus he's way better with Sova utility and looks more comfortable than RB. RB as sage/skye is cracked asf but his sova really lacks

That's actually not true. If he was that kind of Beast they would use that Beast for themselves and not keep him chained. They use him only on 1 Map and according to this logic they would only have to fear him on that one Map. I personally think VS thought the Meta will drastically change so they decided to have a Player that might fit well to that upcoming Meta. But everything went back to the old Meta just spiced up and Lakia isn't needed. They just let him play on Bind to motivate him to keep training and improving.

That's not how teams work. These games are TEAM games.

You can have a team of 5 beast and it won't come together because team chemistry is a real thing. You may have 5 Fakers/Simples/etc and still lose because you need to have 5 players that play well together and individually.

Examples that come into mind for super teams that failed:
G2 League 2021
TSM League 2016-2018
KT League 2018
Vitality CS "French Dream team" with RPK Zywoo Apex Etc.
Faze CS in general when they pick up random ass superstars and assemble what on paper entire legacy players, (Boston Major, Coldzera Joins, Twistzz joins, etc).

Let Lakia find a team that suits him and let him help build teams that help build around him as well. Don't waste incredible talent on a team that clearly won't work around him.

Yea I believe they either have to release him or he has to do it on his on. His role as an initiator is already oversaturated in the team. We have Rb, Stax who can do his role. I don't think they need a third one, what they needed was a second smoker and k1ng started to step on that secondary smoker.
There are a lot of good Korean players who are free agents so I guess a new Korean org can pick him up.
