Yo Chronicle, my man, I just read your little “I’m gonna save Valorant” manifesto, and I gotta say— bro really thinks he’s dropping some galaxy-brain wisdom about util, but all I’m hearing is “I’m a pro, so I’m right.” Bro, you’re on some next-level EGO TRIP with this one. You really think you’re the messiah of tac shooters ‘cause you dropped this half-baked idea about util recharges?

First off, you’re out here acting like you’re the Einstein of Valorant with your “triangle” theory—shooting, util, teamplay, blah blah. Bro, you’re not dropping some TED Talk-level wisdom, you’re just stating the obvious and slapping a fancy label on it. “Util overlaps too much.” No duh, genius, that’s what makes Valorant, y’know, NOT CS2! But then you come in with this trash idea of no recharge/cooldown on util except for smokers, and I’m like… what? You’re really trying to strip Valorant of everything that makes it unique?

I’m sorry, bro, but who even asked you? You’re out here acting like you’re some god-tier tac shooter guru with your no-recharge util idea, but let’s be real—you’ve been getting CARRIED your whole career, my guy. You were never the best player in the world, and now you’re trying to turn Valorant into a boring CS2 clone to cope with your mid-tier legacy? Nah, fam, I’m calling you OUT. You should waste your time working on your aim, since there is no "Leo" to save you anymore.

Yeah we've disucussed it on here already, overall It's not a horrible take, but not really that feasible. It would make the game too one-dimensional and teams would just play around the non-rechargable utility. But at least he's trying to come up with solutions.

Plat chat had a very reasonable take
Increase the cooldowns to more than 60-80 seconds(except controllers)So that you can you only once/twicw before the plant
then we will not see crazy spams in miround where a team wastes time for util recharge and spams suddenly

Only retake spamming and fast exec spamming of util will exist
So ranked players can bait out util fast and play their gun game until spike is planted
So the game will change in spike denial rather than retakes
Attckers want post plants and defenders would want spike denial

Not a horrible idea, but let’s be real; the only people who are maximizing until usage are pros. Not even radiant games care to spam util like that. I think bros tired of being a pro player (fuck I would hate it too, gotta use 200% brain all the time to be at the top)

I like to think the recharging of abilities makes the game more like chess. And without it the game would be more like checkers

The only benefit I see is it might make the game more fun to watch, and the people who like tactical breakdowns will take a hit. They should be able to get over it tho

Overall 50/50 on the idea. I wouldn’t care if this update did go through
