So CS has like a ton of tournaments going on all year right? How do these players prevent burnout? How do they make/adapt strats and improve with such little time between tournaments?

I'm asking this because the top 2 in Stage 1 + online qualifier winners are going to EWC, right after that we have Stage 2 and then champions

So, most likely, you just destroy your chances of making champs, and even if you make it, teams will have a lot of tape on you, right?

Yes, there are a lots of tournaments

Burnout is a new invention

The "meta" is a lot more stable in Cs, but teams also have been developing strats throghout many years, so teams dont innovate much, its more about who does it better with a few tweaks, and shooting form matters a lot. Also, they can not participate in some tournaments if they feel they need a break to practice more.

While anti-stratting is a thing in valorant, some things are hard to counter even if the opponent knows what you are doing, take Aspas on icebox as an example, ppl mostly know what his is going to do and he still dominate the map, and also good teams can adapt and know their weakness in advance, so when opponents try to explore it, they know what they should do.

The reason why val pros always complaining is they never get to showcase their talent, especially rookies who are debuting and only gets to play 5 games the rest of the split. The difference between valo and cs were valo pros gets burnt out from playing scrims 7-8hours potentially can lose confidence and mental draining from just playing scrims while cs players gets to showcase talent because of its wide tournaments lans/online and prizepool pretty good for it too. So i think most the pro players likes to compete than sitting on the chair just like any other sports. Players are hungry to win.
