I want to debate about having more Asention team and less partener team.

What is you opinion on that ?

I'm afraid APAC will to split in 2, if not some market will just disapear from val scene :/

(And if you are really bored I can release the video early)

I think 8 partner and 4 ascension is the ideal
do more than that and i feel like you're hurting the ecosystem

9-3 would be cool too since tbh in some cases there are enough good orgs

I think SEA just needs more time tbh, KR teams were also behind until (relatively) recently, playing and scrimming against better teams is the best way for them to improve imo, even if it makes them look weak in comparison for now

8/4 was my first idea, but after writing the script of tomorrow video (That is now fully ready ^-^), I feel now 8/4 wouldn't be the worst of the 2 world

  • 10/2 : (With T2 team allowed to qual), allow stability and everyone to be represented especially in APAC where it's almost 1 team = 1 market (Plus a JP team easily removable, and the 3 KR team that are fully historic and hard to kick out), and still OCE and VN not being represented
  • 6/6 : would be great for China and AMER, because we can have a group of partner (with rivalry that build of time), and a group of ascension (and bottom 2 being relegated), and still being sure that every market have representation. But for APAC where it's nearly impossible to kickanyone without loosing any market (beside ZETA or DFM and maybe DRX or GEN), and may need to split in 2 (Wish is good new for OCE that can finally have a spot). Of course we need a rule that ensure no T2 region steal the 6 spot (And have 3 team or 4 ascension spot maximum per T2 region)
  • 8/4 : We can't make the 2 group and it's bad, because it's important for competitive integrity that every ascension team are in the same group so we can really now wish one deserve the relegation, and we still need to wipeout too many team. We still need the "3 ascention team per T2 max", but it would be mush less efficient since it's allow only 1 place for the other T2
  • 9/3 : Is good, RIP DFM or ZETA, and still give a potential spot for CIS and MENA without kicking too many teams, solve the issue of having a finalist relegated and make things easier since we don't need the "3 team max per T2" rule

So

  • Good : 10/2, 9/3, 6/6 (APAC split in 2)
  • Bad : 8/4, 6/6 (no split)

I don't think anyone need to desribe the current situation since we know it.

So prescriptive only please.

My ideal is 11 partner, 4 ascension, and 1 tier 2 team

What ? A T2 team in T1 is a T1 team ?

Yes but the 16th slot would rotate and be given to the best tier 2 team at the time to possibly give them a chance to make Masters - similar to Ascension but a shorter trial in tier 1

Would be viable to make a team come just for 1 split ?

I don't see why not but now that I think about it there's multiple t2 regions for every t1 region so it wouldn't work

I think they would need to locate in Berlin for 2 mounth, and it would be really expansive I think.

Thats why at first Riot wanted to secure for 2 years, you buy facilities, and so you dont spend that mush on the long run.

A solution I would really want Riot do, is making Riot buy ascention house, and just loan to whoever is ascended for free (Or few money)
