also why is the practice range even online?? I'd understand for some other games where multiple people can join together but here you're alone and it's still online

Not possible from a technical standpoint since both the EPS and OTAs are linked and basically in the same line when queuing for a regular match or joining the range. It's like trying to queue 2 modes in the same account at the same time

in Rocket League you can go into training and queue and its also offline

its not that hard, but they would need to recode everything to fix it up, and valorants official excuse is that the game is optimised for queue times and therefor you wont wait that long
