artists are artificially made from childhood and are separated from their family in their teen years for months to undergo kpop training by said industry for a chance to make the cut to some pop band of their gender
kpop is built off of mountains of stolen and blatantly misleading plagiarized sound from western music at the global scale
their fan culture glorifies hyperfixation of their artists, leading to a more obsessive and unhealthy relationship between the two that goes god awfully wrong the second it becomes negative
racism in kpop is unsurprisingly common with a lot of it being anti-black (which is ironic considering a large brunt of their modern sound is either heavily inspired or most of the time flat out plagiarized stuff made by black artists past and present)
