I don't think so. Jawgemo is better than icy fs. It looks like the whole team got outplayed today.
Icy feels like a bad system duelist, he never makes the 'x-factor' plays other top duelist do, he consistently went negative and consistently was at the bottom of the scoreboard. Icy can't even frag with EG, Jawg is a clear upgrade to icy.
he never makes the "x-factor" plays because his coach quite literally did not allow for him to make aggression plays, he was sent in DRY for his team to trade him. it was never for him to succeed or play well but for his teammates to get the kills. since you want to talk stats look at how jawgemo is consistently going negative and getting carried by the g2 guys
Except even now that Icy's on EG he hasn't made any notable plays and is still terrible.
Jawgemo may be going negative, but he also isn't going -10 like icy consistently did on G2 and Jawg has won G2 rounds that they would have lost otherwise, Icy hardly ever did that.
Icy very much won rounds and carried games for G2 and they were the important games in which many people doubted him like the SEN, C9, PRX, EDG matches. Just say you are a bandwagon and do not like a player, because right now you are picking and choosing what's okay and not, when jawgemo literally has about the same performance if not worse, but when he does it he gets excuses because jawgemo ALSO did nothing last year on EG and you're silent about that.
You cherry picked a total of 4 matches out of the 28 he played with G2, and I can provide you with many more matches where he bottom fragged and cost them important games, and many more times where he went -10 or more. Meanwhile Jawg lowest with G2 so far was - 7 in a game that G2 didn't even have to win. You can't highlight 4 games where he played good when you don't highlight the dozens of times he was terrible.

Im not impressed at all with Jawgemo this year, every play he makes, Icy could do, his stats are not much different than Icy's if not lower. Icy Champs 24 finished with 0.93 rating(ass), jawgemo right now has 0.92. His kickoff performance was not impressive even with the best Americas team around him.
So far I see no reason why G2 dropped Icy
Also the only reason G2 didnt win a regional trophy last year is because they played against 100T one-time per year peak performance and prime Leviatan with aspas

this is just a complete overreaction. icy, while he had his moments, was not consistent at all, sometimes dropping 30, sometimes 8. jawg, on the other hand, has potential to have those same moments, while still being very consistent.
if icy so good, EG will top 4 like aspas and if g2 still with icy, i'm doubt they can win americas kickoff.

If you unironically think Icy is better for G2 than Jawg youre tweaking, Jawg is a better player objectively and his CURRENT STATS besides lacking a little are on par or better than Icy last year, regionally and internationally. Saying this only 6 games in is stupid when youre trying to give an "objective" take, you could say this if G2 were doing worse than last year but currently they won kickoff, and are very likely making top 4 at bangkok, if they had icy they would not be here right now and its just objectively wrong to think otherwise.
