Creative people, help

how do you creative people come up with ideas and be so good at executing ur ideas into reality?

cause im finding it hard to come up with ideas without just ripping it off of someone else and not being original. (i like to make motion graphics, edit videos and pictures)

Look for inspiration beyond just your niche—explore all aspects of design and recreate them until you find your own identity. It’s going to be hard at first, but design is an iterative process; you can’t create something perfect on the first try.

one it is quite tough to be original so dont go for that go for your version of good/fun if you find that you arent being original in the idea you like add in your own twist or flair into the idea and every problem that you face by the time your done you will have something done nobody is good at executing ideas into reality there will be somethings that are better in your head then in reality it is just about attempts done

an easy way to do this is take multiple ideas you like and merge them like for example some people use sports media trends and try to do them in esports some times it is ass and some times it isnt also valorant is just a merge of CS and OW two ideas people liked into one thing
chained together blew up without being that crazy of a concept parkour game where you are tied together and your trying to get out of hell via parkour and being in sync
TLDR
take a bunch of things you like and explore something outside of thing you like and take parts of them you like and take parts of them that will fit your creative vision and repeat the process when you find problems by taking a bunch of things you like and explore.....

go outside and just think. picture it in your mind without many distractions. do you have aphantasia?

If you are serious about this, I would say stop stimulating your brain with stuff like video games, and doom scrolling. Few days of chill. Your brain has too much information about things. Try to let go of the ideas that trap you within realm of others works.

Whenever I'll be prepping for exams I'd be getting tons of ideas about starting a new startup/business or some movie related ideas

When your brain is bored by doing something which you don't like it can go for escapism by being creative, I mean that's how I wrote screenplays, got solutions for case studies

Though for me normally if I get a thought then I can easily convert it into string of thoughts, coz I've a bad habit of overthinking so the ideas ruminate in my head and I just keep on thinking creatively.

I just use different references, mix them, and sometimes it create something new, there are no shame in looking for references.

don't be so hard on yourself that your ideas aren't so original. you'll find that most creative things in the world are based off something else. we live in a world where there were generations of people before us that came up with their own special idea based on something that they were inspired by. you don't have to live in a vacuum.

that being said, i agree with the guy that told you to detox your mind from video games and doomscrolling. let your mind digest something before you feed it something else.

I mean you just gotta let your mind go to legit anywhere even if it's dumb. A lot of creativity is just your mind wandering. Just don't put boundaries on what you can think and don't worry if something is wrong or dumb.

For example, just ask yourself what if ____? Then fill in the blank with whatever comes to your mind no hesitation. It's shit like that, that should help.
