Is Valorant Dying?

I have seen a lot of doomer narrative about how the viewership online and offline both is lower and how marvel rivals has stolen valorant's player base, tbh i started watching vct in 2024 and it does seem a little lacking in hype as compared to last year, tho even last year people were using this narrative of valorant dying so i dont really know anymore, anyone got the stats?

its kickoff so maybe thats the reason i am sure till champs the viewership would match to the viewership of Champs 24

Every damn event people yap at the start that the viewership is bad; obviously it's gonna be bad when the first games start on weekdays. Then by the end of the event it's all gone when viewership peaks above one million. Please wait till the end of the bloody event before making these assumptions

Valorant is actually dying coz there's no big player like Tenz, Faker, S1mple to bring in lots of views

And recently valorant is just focusing on bringing out shitty skins, flex their creativity is actually dying lol

• A lot of smurfs
• A lot of trolls
• A lot of ghosts, to the point these losers created a whole discord server to ghost they, and its a REALLY huge server.
• People doing accout boost either trolling or hacking
• And the worst, people doing EVERYTHING I said above is being called to play in VCB.
  So the honest players who is stuck in Immo bc of these guys, have no chance to play pro.

Asia and NA events have lower viewership because the timezones screw each other. NA events are middle of the night for Asia and vice versa for events like bangkok. events in EMEA are the most accurate read on viewership dropping or not because every region can reasonably watch and Madrid was the last EU event and it had very good viewership.

Maybe phrase the title better. eSports stats doesn't matter for the actual game state. I know you meant eSports but just wanted to be a nerd.

It's not dying in japan yet but they will if orgs keep spending money on imports. Not to mention SOOP'S deal and merging SEA triggers a spillover to VCJ, if orgs don't change the way they're doing things rn there will be hardships in the future
