Buying Mice on a budget

I am shopping for a good gaming mouse but on a pretty strict budget and would prefer not to exceed $100 unless I have to. I currently have a Logitech G305 that I've had since 2022 and I'd like to upgrade, I was thinking about the Logitech G Pro x Superlight, but the original, not the 2nd gen, what is the difference between the two?

Okay thanks for the input, I'm pretty confident it's the mouse I'm gonna purchase

to answer your original question tho, i think the 2 has better battery life and is slightly lighter. ergonomically it's the same. if you think it's worth the price, get the 2 but I have the 1 and it's very reliable.

Use a Chinese mouse like vgn vxe or attack shark https://attackshark.com/?srsltid=AfmBOorFIkZSSgXg1PkE57bw-vflk_SXvvQsH2By7t-iX8JNQF8CZJVU

I've heard great things about Chinese mouse companies, especially Lamzu but I don't know I kind of want to stay within the U.S. and use a more popular brand if possible, thanks for the recommendation though

I have the Attack Shark x3 pro, it's a good budget mouse (I live in Argentina and getting the g pro superlight is like 160-170 usd which is A LOT), the clicks will be heavier than the g305 though and you may need to adjust (I come from a g203 since like 2019 lol).

Overall I like the mouse, so far I had some micro stutters with it wirelessly but I live in area that the 2.4ghz band is really used up so it isn't a mouse problem. try getting a new version of it, older models have some connection issues I think

for you, coming from a g305 will need you to get used to this one, it is like 3 times lighter, the mouse clicks will be heavier (you won't notice it in valorant but maybe in something like minecraft for example) and the scroll wheel is a little bit worse but it's fine

Thanks for all the detail man, believe it or not you aren't the first person to mention an Attack Shark mouse, so I think I'm gonna go check them out

also check out the vxe r1 pro max (pro max model only) it is like the attack shark but with more battery and better software, I couldn't buy it because of bad argentina product importations from aliexpress.

I recommend you to go to eloshapes website, there you can compare mouse sizes and find one with a similar size to yours. the attack shark x3 is a bit thinner on like the right side, where the pinky rests but you eventually adjust

from what i remember with the og x3 you had to download some kysona drivers to fix the micro stuttering, dk if that’s a thing with the pro tho

I’m not sure what the price is in usd but I use the viper v3 pro and it’s been really good so far no complaints as of yet it is definitely on the pricier side tho

Dude this is the mouse I originally wanted to get but the price kills it for me. It fluctuates between $150 and $170 USD which is pretty pricey for my budget right now

Incott G23 Pro is a Superlight clone. It’s notably heavier (about 15-20 grams) but has hot swappable switches and matches the 8k polling rate. Best part is on AliBaba/Express it’s around 70-80 USD. Also has way better skates. Highly recommend.

I've heard great things from Lamzu but I was kinda shooting for a bigger brand, ik bigger brand = bigger price but I also feel like bigger brand = bigger quality and bigger brand = bigger trustworthy

I'd have to adjust my setup quite a bit to run a wired mouse but honestly could make it happen, but I definitely prefer wireless
