I just realised Spike turns 18 on June 2. I thought it was March or April. That's so sad because that's like 3/4 of the season almost done. This is some insane bad luck man wtf
2G are basically set up for failure. It will be a miracle if they even make it to contention of keeping their spot via Ascensions...

i mean, this time they have a diff coach, and all 5 players are different so I see good chances aswell as the Sato Okeanos combo is even for T1 standards insane firepower without considering Bao and Bdog and Kyu

basically the second coming of aspas, see it this way, hes good enough too 1. join a NA team as an brazilian with intermediate english knowledge, 2. to join M80 (best T2 org with SR in NA) as a duelist when theres plenty of duelists available and 3. to even get a replacement for him bcs of Visa and be swapped in when hes in na, hes very good

people underestimate how much a player can change a teams entire dynamic. specially because spike is the second caller, very active voice in the team.
this team will be much better in stage 2, at least think they make playoffs so they can fight in ascension again.

It will be tough to re-synergise with the team no? Since Neon is now nerfed so they need new strats for few maps
If it was even May, it would be wayy better

doesn't work like that anymore

if the ascension team makes champs: spot secured for the next year*
if they make playoffs in stage 2: they will defend their spot in ascension
if they miss playoffs: automatic relegation

only one team can keep their spot through making champs, so if both make it only the best placed team will keep it, the other will play ascension.
