KRU focused on Banning Pearl & Fracture; floated Haven / Bind / Abyss / Split / Lotus
MIBR focused on banning Split & Fracture; floated Haven / Bind / Abyss / Pearl / Lotus

Haven is Kru's worst playable map (map they are ok with playing)
Lotus is Mibr's worst playable map

KRU would ban Pearl since its MIBR's best map
MIBR would ban Bind because its KRU's best map
One of the winning cons here is whichever teams folds and bans fracture, and which team gambles and picks fracture.

IF MIBR = A & KRU = B (mibr chickens out)
X-Fracture X-Pearl V-Haven V-Bind X-Lotus X-Split R-Abyss [This map pool favours KRU]
IF MIBR = A & KRU = B (mibr attacks)
X-Bind X-Fracture or Pearl V-Split V-Abyss X-Lotus X-Fracture or Pearl R-Haven [This map pool favours MIBR]

using this logic, whichever team bans the other's best map first and picks fracture, has a higher chance of winning.

Pearl will not be played if MIBR pick first
Bind will not be played if KRU pick first

When it comes to map picks. whichever team picks fracture (assuming there are no hidden strats) will win the series

KRU have banned Pearl more than they have banned Fracture, they tend to make the other team ban fracture

looks like fracture is both of their perma bans. very interesting.

basically whoever turns their biggest weakness into a strength will have the upper hand

I feel that maybe mibr will get fracture though. Kru bans pearl, mibr bans either fracture/bind. Sure fracture is your perma but how kru is playing bind they are looking unstopabble. On the other hand, mibr got kinda cook on attack by 100t

I don't think KRU's Haven is their worst map tbh, their defense looks really solid but their attack is absolute ass. If they learnt something from dgzin on how to counter OP. then good. They might pick Haven to try to counter aspas' OP, but as we know that will be difficult because aspas reads rotations too well

Haven is their worst playable map, basically out of all the maps they allow to be in the map pool, thats their worst. They dont allow Pearl and Fracture so those must be their true worst maps.

Just like Mibr's Lotus isnt dogshit, its just the worst map they have allowed themselves to play in.

I think fracture must be KRÜ's worst based on how the players talk about the map (I watch some streams xD)
I suspect the "surprise" they could be preparing is Pearl given how Shy has been playing only Vyse for some months and Bind ended up being a strong map for them with Shyy taking over games so I expect Shyy using Vyse on Pearl and a solid preparation by them.

you don't think KRU picks bind if MIBR doesn't ban it?

MIBR looked A LOT better on Bind than Lotus. They played both these maps against 100T and they were actually competitive on Bind unlike Lotus. Keep in mind since that game they played Lotus 2 more times so KRU has three vods they can look at for MIBR Lotus but only one for Bind. Its not impossible they pick Bind thou

Pelo que vi dos jogos e pelos picks e bans desse ano dos times:

Kru A, MIBR B : Kru ban Pearl, MIBR ban Bind, Kru pick Haven, MIBR pick Abyss, Kru ban Fracture, MIBR ban Lotus, Split remains.

MIBR A, Kru B: MIBR ban Bind, Kru ban Pearl, MIBR pick Abyss, Kru pick Split, MIBR ban Fracture, Kru ban Haven, Lotus remains
