Pacific and Korea

I have a huge fear, that Korea start dominating HARD pacific, seeing how the bracket is, a top 4 pacific being the 4 Korean team is possible. And how mush populated the KR server is, I really dont want that SEA and JP team start to dispaear, but I see now way to solve this problem beside creating a 5th region, but make Non-KR pacific even weaker x)

Every year the talent from tier 2 KR gets more and more chances to play in the big league. Which broads the talent that can be picked up from there. Korea is just stacked with players that can be one of the best players for sure.

Then the region will be so boring. Sea teams especially prx doing well is very important for the region.

I thought GE looked quite better, but thanks for the free win again.

I think a big reason why KR is so dominant is because of the orgs' willingness to pick up T2 talents. Most of the good KR talent is in T1 already while a lot of good SEA players are rotting in T2

I'm not fully sure about that, They are more talent in T2 in KR wish is more easy, and with how good T1-KR player where, last year, I don't think a lot where demoted (I dont have the stats).

I just think it's because KR is the biggest T2 region in terms of player that will be seen in a near future

SK is not the smallest region in the PAC (even demographically, as SEA is not really a single region and is disconnected), but the largest. As a quick example, there are more PCs capable of running Valo at 120+ frames in Japan (125 million people) than in SEA+SA (more than 1.5 billion people), and South Korea (50 million people) probably has twice as many as Japan.
Riot planned to give KR five slots in the early design stages of the league, and they were probably right.

I was Saying that Korea is the T2 region with the most player in the word if we use the premier data (They are even AHEAD Americas, and not that far from the 5 Europe region cumulated). if you have data about PC i'll take them, that can help a lot in my researsh.

One of my concern (And the subject of of of the script for a future video), is basically that KR might dominate that mush that they crush rest of APAC, and with the growing of PC market in Indian and SEA that may mean we need to devide Asia between "Pacific" (KR-JP-OCE) and Asia (SEA-SA and maybe MENA)

The problem is not that KR is better than other teams in Pacific (even if they are) its that org dont want to touch tier2 i mean look at PRX how something (someone from t2) changed their team they need to find someone like that again. Young talent in T2 is INSANE in every part of the world teams just need to find them

apac has a really horrible blend of teams who are too loyal to there players and teams who drop players of no apparent reason
but the teams that drop tend to be better consistently
