Valorant is much more of a team game now than at its start

Comparing players by individual stats makes no sense anymore, otherwise EG wouldn't have even dreamed of winning champs

Also Nzr beating boostio on igl? I'm not sure if he's even the best igl in his own team

No boludo, MIBR 2-1 100T. Zander is really good, don't underestimate them.

the data is kinda pointless when you dont account for strength of opposition. all of 100Ts (-zander) last 3 non offseason games were in playoffs against champions level teams, while all of MIBR (-aspas) were playing against bottom feeders in T1 or mid-level T2

100T lost to trust in plug

At least MIBR can beat mid-level T2 teams

I would agree with you, but we are talking about 100T right now

If you're saying you agree that SEN is not a good team because they lost to T2, then it's more than fair saying 100T is not a good team because they lost to T2.

I treat both teams the same

If you lose to t2 you are t2

I have lost faith in 100T

this is the first year that I have picked them to lose.

I hope they prove me wrong

If they got rid of Asuna and found a better flex/ fully flexible duelist (not just jett), then they'd have a great shot at being a top team this year.

Otherwise I love +Zander, and keeping the rest of the core from last year.

Pretty sure we'll see cryo and asuna trade duelist / flex roles again map by map this year. Cryo has the aim that we might even see them pull chamber out if it works for them on some maps.

IMO MIBR was using their sticker money from the CS major to finance signing aspas. I feel like his experience over the rest of the team will be a detriment more than a help. He'll perform well individually, but it'll be like watching Less on LOUD last year. No team building, all individual performance.

It'll be a fun game to watch. I'm interested to see how 100T perform w/ Zander. He can provide a lot more secondary calling than Bang did, and while I think he has a lower skill ceiling, he's way more consistent. Hopefully boosting plays better with some of the weight taken off his shoulders.

100T have more practice than MIBR, more than likely their team play will be better and that’ll be difficult

stats are one thing... nrg 2024 would have swept the floor using this logic. It's about team play, coordination, consistency, maps, clutch factor, and so much more. 100T peak last year was locked in together, and if they can replicate that, they will go very far in kickoff. The problem is that 100T have trouble locking in often, where in most games its just a few individuals firing and on a different wave length than the others. Mibr has a lot of firepower, but they are a new team that needs to work together and prove that they are an actual force, rather than a collection of individuals that can win 1v1s
