As I replied to someone else, I'm not defending Asuna. He plays whatever role the team needs but he is an average player who pops off on a map once in a while. If they can find a good replacement, they should. But Boostio is a much bigger problem atp.
I'm not even defending Asuna. If they can get a better replacement for him, they should. But replacing Boostio is much needed.
I swear people just hate on Asuna because he hasn't won a trophy with 100T. If you just look at this roster like it is now, it's pretty clear Boostio is the standout problem. It's literally the NRG FNS problem and Boostio isn't even as good as FNS as an IGL and he can't shoot back. If they get a decent enough IGL who can shoot at par with the other pros, 100T might actually cause some damage.
And people will continue to blame Asuna for the team's shortcomings.
If you're gonna point out that TL lost to KC, then MiBR also lost to NRG and 100T. I highly doubt MiBR wins Toronto.
Even G2 almost lost to 100T and "EG".
I only saw on the Liquipedia page that the Phase 2 will be streamed and nothing about Phase 1. But from the EWC site, it sends you to a FaceIT page. Maybe the games will be streamed there? I only know about FaceIT from watching ALGS so idk whats gonna happen.
Will Phase 1 qualifiers not be streamed? Or there just isn't any information yet?
They'll hopefully end up doing better now. We might see more of Boostio on sentinels (which is more comfortable for him) now that Tejo is gone. Zander started showing up near the end of the split. Cryo is Cryo. Asuna will always do what needs to be done. Really just depends if eeiu is back in form.
If they're good enough to beat G2, they're more than good enough to beat EG.

Kinda unfair if they have to restart. Atleast KC will have more time to prep the remaining 2 maps.
Comps dont even feel like the issue anymore. Feels like someone (or more) has a rigid idea on how to approach the game (which isn't working) and is making everyone follow through with it. Whoever that is should be changed.
Also, the IGLing or mid-rounding is a big hit-or-miss.
Bang had the potential to take over in a game and was a good anchor and equally good aggressor when he needed to be for the team. Zander so far hasn't been either.
Never underestimate 100T's ability to disappoint

If they've been a mess for "years", this is the point to stop cutting slack. It's almost the same team as last year and they've only gotten worse. Changes are definitely needed.

I always knew bang was the better player and he actually played on the same wavelength as the rest of 100T.
Boostio definitely should be replaced, Zander if he keeps underperforming and maybe even Zikz (or back to AC) coz idek what he's coaching them to do anymore.
Could've been 8-10 and probably 9-10 if Cortezia doesn't kill 3 thru smoke and then again 11-12 and probs 12-12 if not for the judge.
This season has been awful for 100T. They somehow manage to lose every pivotal round, be it their fault or some BS from the other team.
Personally, watching T1 Valorant was the more fun before franchise leagues started. When there were more rivalries, felt like more games being played and teams having more of a chance to shine.
I don't know much about why Val eSports ended up being the way it is now but wouldn't it be more fun if they did online matches on weekdays and stage games on weekends? Teams already scrim most days between games and this way teams will be playing every other team atleast once in each Split. Doesn't even have to be a swap between online and LAN. Could be online for a few weeks and then switched to LAN games.
I also understand that there are complications for competitive fairness but with a few changes, it could be better than the system that is in place now.
Winners don't seek the easy path. If 100T deserves it, they will win regardless of which path they take.
Does H2H still count if it's a 3-way tie? I thought it went to map differential.
That's the best idea I've read so far. Making it like Skye flashes used to be is a good nerf. One thing I'll add: Tejo should be able to use 2 charges (if he has them) in one use like it is now and as you said, only one charge is rechargeable for the rest of the round.
If this is not enough, maybe reduce the travel speed of the salvos and/or increase the range from which the drone is visible.

People praised 2G for looking better when going 1-2 against KRU (who might be Top 3 Americas) and when 100T 2-0s 2G, all they are is a "team not even supposed to be in VCT"
2G looks rejuvenated with PxS and will probably look even better with spike
He barely plays duelists now anyways and double duelists with Cryo and Zekken will probably go crazy.
SEN doesn't need Cryo. Zekken is good enough to play all duelists.
Hot take: Zekken replacing Asuna on 100T and maybe replace Boostio with a fragger IGL (if he continues to drop stinkers) would be a god team.
I totally agree but there have been games on Raze where he went berserk while also making space for the team. Its performances like those that keep me believing. Even if he doesn't get as many kills, he still does well in making space (sometimes overpushing).
