If you're saying you agree that SEN is not a good team because they lost to T2, then it's more than fair saying 100T is not a good team because they lost to T2.

If you're saying you agree that SEN is not a good team because they lost to T2, then it's more than fair saying 100T is not a good team because they lost to T2.
Looked at quite a few pickems for the Kickoff and i'd love to hear some thought processes on these topics:
Starting with what really stood out to me- 100T being predicted to go 0-2 in most pickems. It's true they lost to Trust in Plug but I honestly didnt think it held that much significance and with Neon nerfs and more practice time with Zander, they should be a decent (if not one of the best) team for most of the year. I can see them making Kickoff even though their run will not be easy.
MiBR being expected to make waves just because they have aspas. He's definitely the GOAT but i just dont see him being able to carry them this hard, and least of all to any internationals. But i guess we'll see in the LATAM Invitational if aspas is really that guy.
Does the hopium on KRU actually have a basis? In all fairness they did make it to Champs (barely) and that was their only major accomplishment last year. They've made a few changes but will that actually make a big enough difference for them to play better in 2025?
NRG and SEN probably being the two teams that are expected to qualify for Masters 1. I see the vision but i can also see SEN not performing well in the start of the year.
Would love to read others' opinions on this.
P.S.- KRU and LEV might have the easiest runs to be able to get top 2 in this tourney and I dont like that.
I can honestly see it going completely one-sided, either way. Should be a great match regardless
Their Reyna went AFK first round but seems like your teammates were around for atleast half the game, possibly more. So doesn't seem that far-fetched.
I think reducing the sliding accuracy and just having 1 slide should be a good enough nerf
They seriously ruined Raze. I don't remember a single time raze got a buff but they just slowly took away bits and pieces from her and now playing Raze isn't even enjoyable. Raze was a good agent. RIP.
The goated, clouted and highly anticipated 100T vs. SEN
Bang going up against his old team, 100T working to change the one-sided history into an actual rivalry, SEN to take revenge for the playoffs 0-2 defeat (even though they made it to Champs over 100T)
Soon to be a banger match but not yet I suppose
I read somewhere that it starts at 7pm CET. Might be wrong.
there may be better players but i'd never accept victor as an improvement over asuna
Happy that he decided to come back. The hate towards him was completely unnecessary and I actually enjoyed whatever leaks, rumors or even potentially false information he put out because it just created more interest for me to know what was actually going to happen. People truly get way too bothered over things on the internet. If you don't like his way of reporting, stop interacting with him and/or block him.
just saw on X that Ludwig Tarik invitational is on oct 12-13 but doesn't show anything on vlr
what region is this and when and what teams?
Any major off season events coming up other than RBHG? Mostly interested in Americas but i'll watch anything at this point.
There were N4RRATE rumors but I doubt they replace eeiu and N4RRATE probably goes to SEN anyways.
Zander might just be confirmed but you never know.
Atleast wait for FPX to gain a lead, let alone a considerable lead.
I'd like 1 KRU jinx please
Please no! Not the NRG fate. I'd rather they don't qualify.

Never got 100% before, is this it?
Has every region other than Americas locked their Champs representatives?
just asking about KRU stocks so i can feel better about 100T's chances :)
I'm not but I'm kinda nervous they might pull off something crazy. I don't think they beat LEV but it scares me what might happen if 100T lose to G2 and have to face KRU in lowers.
I'd rather G2 face KRU because i'm more confident they will beat KRU and i'm content with 100T having 3rd seed after.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
No they don't. LEV, 100T and SEN all have 12 points as of now. If G2 wins against 100T, they also make it to 12 points but doesn't matter coz they would be qualified for Champs.
They might get lucky and get grouped with China #1. That might make it slightly less hard.
That's just harsh. They looked great until G2 and now 100T but they'll probably fix up if they make it to Champs. Personally, i think they would make Top 8.
Come on man, let me have some hope. It's hard enough being a 100T fan. I'm already rooting for LEV, G2 and SEN to qualify just so 100T can atleast show their faces at Champs.
If they manage to play like they did in Stage 1, 100T should win. If they atleast play at a good level worthy of qualifying for Champs, it could just be 2-1 for either team coz Curry isn't a bad player by any means.
They will make it as long as LEV, SEN & G2 qualify through playoffs.
And that's exactly what I'm hoping for
Was looking through different scenarios to see the best one for 100T so I thought I might as well share all the scenarios (if anyone else might be interested). These are all I can think of and there's a chance I might have missed something.
Two games are left: (1) 100T vs. LOUD (2) SEN vs. G2
Winners: 100T, SEN
100T vs. G2 ----- LEV
KRU vs C9 ----- SEN
Winners: LOUD, SEN
G2 vs. C9 ----- LEV
KRU vs. 100T ----- SEN
Winners: 100T, G2 (2-1)
KRU vs. 100T ----- LEV
SEN vs. C9 ----- G2
Winners: LOUD, G2 (2-1)
KRU vs. C9 ----- LEV
SEN vs. 100T ----- G2
Winners: 100T, G2 (2-0) (Round diff. > 6) [If round diff. < 6, then above 2 scenarios]
SEN vs. 100T ----- LEV
KRU vs. C9 ----- G2
Winners: LOUD, G2 (2-0) (Round diff. > 6)
SEN vs. C9 ----- LEV
KRU vs. 100T ----- G2
Feel free to criticize.
I checked. 1st scenario looks right. Might be wrong but if SEN win and 100T loses:
100T vs. KRU - Winner goes against SEN
G2 vs. C9- Winner goes against LEV
Also pretty sure that if G2 win, depending on 2-0 or 2-1, it creates more scenarios and i'm not gonna bother checking but your G2 win scenarios don't fully look right.
So if SEN wins, it doesn't matter what 100T did and it's the same matchups? Doesn't sound right
LEV is the deciding factor now i think. They'll probably end up with 11 points after beating FURIA and another +1 (making it 12 points) because they get a bye in playoffs. 100T can get to 12 points when they beat LOUD. If LEV bombs out with no win and 100T lose their 1st game, its a tie.
This is the only scenario i can think of, there might be more.
SEN is currently the best choice.
100T might if they fix up and use Neon like every other team.
KRU is a dark horse honestly, might perform a miracle.
Honorable mention to G2- Great team but for some reason, I still think they'll fall off.
First one is the hardest. The floodgates might be open and maybe its time Turkey gets its revenge on TL.
im just worried since koi looked pretty decent against gx but that might just be recency bias
any chance Gentle Mates beats KOI? coz i'm definitely cashing out before that match if BBL wins
I really thought they could but the betting odds are highly in favour of TL rn. I have a parlay where i chose BBL and just wondering if i should cash out before if there's not much of a chance of them winning.
I'd appreciate the opinion of people who understand VCT EMEA better.
Feels good but that was actual dogshit performance by 100T on this map back then
I'm down for all maps to be in the Competitive pool but if its just 7, then:
Bind, Ascent, Haven, Fracture, Lotus and rest 2 idc as long as it isn't Breeze and Sunset
GC is an entirely different league because at this point in Valorant, women can't compete against men at the top level.
EMEA Split 2 starts in a week. There's no time for any team to pick him up and also practice with him.
The only teams that might are the ones who are severely underperforming and need a superstar-like player that they can build around later if things don't work out over the whole split.
CN- Agreed but i also don't watch their matches. FPX should be their best team at Champs.
APAC- I can see Talon putting up a fight and making it over RRQ.
EMEA- TH 100%; NaVi makes it most likely; FNC, KC, VIT and FUT probably fills the remaining 2.
Americas- 100T surely (biased), SEN also should make it; I don't think EG will. Its a fight between G2, LOUD, NRG, C9, KRU, LEV (great competition, hyped to see) for the last 2 spots.
Scoreline of 66-55 to Americas isn't really cope
If it was a whole tournament-like competition between them, which region do you think would win based on no. of matches won against the teams of the other region?
It would be a total of 121 games played so there would be no draw. Assume it's BO3s.
I reckon Americas takes it by at least a difference of 10 games.
Sure thing. TH is definitely pulling EMEA up the ranking.
TH might actually win against GenG but that still wouldn't put EMEA as the #1 region.
FNC was disappointing.
FUT did alright.
NAVI might be good at an international so we'll have to wait to see them at Champs.
KC, i dont even know what to think about them.
TH is the best the region has to offer by a lot rn.
