Valorant 2024 America's Tierlist?

I'm trying to come up with a tierlist for AMER25, but I'm getting stuck around 5-10. By no means is my list perfect, but I want opinions on it.
I think 1-4/5 is pretty set in stone and those are the teams expected to make champs by the end of the year. I think Furia and 2G will be the bottom two teams, but I have hopes for 2G to have a M8 type of year, gets a few wins and maybe an upset or two. I really like that team. Where I get stuck is the middle, I have no clue how to order those teams. I think it's fair to put them in any order there, but i'm honestly not sure. Any thoughts on what to change?

i've been saying that americas next year will be stacked and is pretty hard to predict anyone outside of the clear top 2 (nrg and g2). imma say, to me, c9 and eg are the bottom feeders. top 4 is fine. rest is interchangeable fighting for playoffs

I think oxy and v1c help c9 not be a bottom feeder, EG is suspect to fraud watch tho. I keep my hopes up for most teams because I just want good valorant, but I have almost no faith in Furia, but I'm also not super tuned into the Brazilian scene. If you wouldnt mind letting me know what they are doing that would be awesome.

C9 is too limited to me. Feels like every team got better or was already good on the first place, but C9, even changing players, didn't really got an upgrade and just made overall bad decisions. I feel the same with EG. one player can't carry them to greatness if everyone is just bad, and they just kept a terrible 2024 core who never really did anything interesting

as for brazil: mibr will be shaky at first but probably the best BR team by the end of the season, furia is making the union 2.0 bringing raafa and peu, and if havoc goes full potential on duelist and khalil maintains a bit of a consistency they'il be really deadly, loud will be the best team at the start but will quickly stall on their tactical limitations (with IGL and coaching staff), maybe they'il eventually bounce back with lukxo on the team and cauanzin igling, and 2G is the obvious worse one rn but we'il have to see how well they'il do on tier 1

Thank you for your info on the Brazil teams. I really love brazilian valorant and the passion their fans bring so i hope they do well this year.

I do think the floor for both C9 and EG is as low as can be, but the ceiling for both teams can be increadibly high as well, so we will see.

Pretty decent list. I can see the justification for placements that I don’t quite agree with which means that you’re somewhat reasonable.

Personally I’d have 100T slightly higher given the Meta will shift back away from Neon to Jett/Raze. I think their match against Trust In Plug while worrisome showed that they’re capable of handling multiple role swaps — they just suck at Neon comps.

I have zero faith in C9. Oxy is the only reason they’d make playoffs (top 8) but it’s clear even EG could upset them. They’re far too inconsistent and should be lower.

Loud is a hard team to rank given they have two star players in Pancada and Cauanzin but they’ve proven inconsistent. The rest of the team is relatively mid and the quality of their IGL’ing is unknown. I would have them lower than EG and possibly even lower.

100T was a hard to team to judge overall because I think losing Bang was a massive blow, Bang was an insanely underrated player. But I agree about the Jett/Raze thing and that does put them higher now that I think about it, prob around 6/7ish.

As much as I hate C9, they have always been regular and off season merchants and will sneak their way into playoffs. I think v1c is insane but I can agree to move them lower. I dont think C9 can go any lower then 8 though because I just see them as a playoff team.

I REALLY want to have faith in LOUD, but the amount of unknown on that team is crazy. Like, Pancada and Cauanzin are insane players so im not sure.

lev and c9 above 100t is crazy. Zander and bang are very similar players. Also if mibr didnt sign aspas but instead someone just as good as aspas yall would rank them bottom 3

Yeah, they need to be moved up, I just think its hard with the way they ended the season and how the offseason started for them. But the Jett/Raze point makes sense so they do need to go up.
I hate c9 but I do think they will do well in the regular season.

c9 always does well in regular season and chokes playoffs. 1 loss to a random team during the off season in the long run doesnt mean much. geng and heretics didn't look that great in last offseason

i mean yeah technically, but last year they scraped the bottom of playoffs. my list would be

NRG (looking locked in offsesason, same thing with sen this year)
G2 (nothing but upgrades)
Sen (nothing but sidegrades)
Kru (this team is cooking. keznit+mazino+melser off igl means insane firepower but this time with an actual igl)
100T (sidegrade)
mibr (aspas will carry, plus other teammates have potential, just havent seen many results from players other than aspas)
Lev (solid but last year they relied on individuals to carry, this year the individuals are arguably downgrades. both natank and demon1 are solid but had poor years)
c9 (will make playoffs and bomb out)
loud (cauan, pancada, and tuyz are good, but without saadhak they wont be as good as they used to be)
eg (similar story to loud, losing jawg will hit hard but supa is still good)
furia (heat and mw are good players, khalil is painfully mid)
2g (losing their best player hurts a lot, plus they barely scraped by ascension)

I like this. I think this makes sense. I would say 5-6 are interchangable. Bottom 4 is right IMO as much as I would love for Brazil to have a bounceback year.

I think you are right for the most part, but in my mind, NRG is still super overrated. We saw one good tournament from them, and as much as mada and verno are good, they don't compare to some other tier 1 players.

So where would NRG go for you? 4/5 or lower? I could agree that NRG are high, but I just think that team is insanely good from a skill perspective and the way their comms were at the SEN City tournament, seem like a great team.

The top 3 is reasonable
4-6th I would put it
KRU, Keznit+Mazino, always at champs, real IGL, and I'm biased obviously
MIBR Aspas+Nzr and the best VCB players
Lev Demon1 and NatanK are a question, but if things go well for them who knows

From 7-9th
100T should be favoured bc they were stage 1 winners and it's the same roster and Zander COULD be an upgrade, heck they could even make champions this time.
Furia was looking decent at the end of last year, Heat is an upgrade and Havoc back on duelist has more potential than LOUD in my opinion.
EG should be expected to be 9th, anything higher is an upset and I hope they look good.

10-12th
C9 on 10th after dropping Rossy and wasting most of their work in the offseason, they are not last place bc Oxy and v1c are good.
2G Ascension winners for a reason, they can be good, but they lose Spike until mid year :(
Someone has to be last and I can see Loud failing, maybe not 1-9 like Mibr last year but I don't expect more than 3 victories this year

That's my opinion I hope it contributes something to the discussion!

Yeah, this helps! I think all your points are valid and totally could happen.
KRU is one of those teams that could be insane or could fall flat in my opinion. I think the skill of that team is insane, and should be pushing for a T4 finish, but America's is SO stacked its hard.
I want C9 to suck soooo bad, but I dont see them being any worse then 8th. Like, they will just fraud their way to wins they shouldn't get.
Loud in last is hard, just because Pancada and Cauanzin are insane players who could singlehandedly win them games probably.

I'm not gonna say I'm 100% unbiased but regardless, here's what I've got...

A few notes:

I don't think LOUD will be as bad as people are saying (they have great synergy and some very good names, despite losing both Saadhak and Less)
I don't think MIBR will be as good as people are saying (they have pretty much no synergy yet, a lot of these players have never played with each other... even if they end up doing well, it's gonna be a slow start)
C9 is not a bottom 3 team by any means (they qualified for RBHG by beating SEN with this same roster, mind you)
SEN will probably be in the top half by year's end but until they get comfortable in their roles (which I don't see happening super soon) they'll struggle a tad (if they do get big round wins, it'll likely be off individual firepower until that happens)

As weird as this might sound I have full faith in both yay and icy. Also potter is COOKING on some of these maps, they looked really good at the SEN Invitational despite their performance imo
