2025 Format Quesiton

Compared to 2024 Season how many more games will we have in 2025 PER region (i.e. kickoff, regular season and playoffs)? I'm guessing they are leaving Masters and Champs format with the same number of games, and I know they expanded the calendar to make it run through October but imo it's all meaningless if we have a very similar number of games. In reality it would be the same amount of Valorant with more breaks in between.

As per my understanding there are 12 regular season games now instead of 10. The kickoff event is longer (12 team double elim bracket). I did see a post somewhere saying that the minimum amount of games for each team has been increased by 2. The main thing is that there will probably be a three week gap between events and the regular season

Ah I thougt he were talking about the master relative to the kickoff (My dumbass consider winning master 1 is winning "kickoff" so it's no ambiguous when I say a team win master :c)

I imagine everything related to international events and playoffs to qualify to them is still the same. I assume we will only get additional games during kickoff at the beginning of the year and regular season

dont forget for each regional playoffs after stages 1 and 2 its gonna be 8 teams instead of last year's 6 in the playoffs so at the very least that adds a couple more teams in contention for longer and less teams playing the bare minimum
