everyone is talking about how Neon is worse than pre-nerf
yeah, she kind off is (still has insane fuel regen) but that's kind of the point. It's clear Riot regrets letting Neon into pro play and ranked, because it's not healthy for the game, and I'm sure some of their data backs that up. So instead of deleting her (they will never do that) they gave her the Yuumi/Krieg treatment. Gutting them back into oblivion so they still exist, but are just not worth playing.

me, personally, am kind of happy, since I've hated Neon since her release. But having seen this happen in many other games, it's pretty obvious what Riot have done.

She was weak, so Riot buffed her to improve duellist diversity, but they realised that her being strong was bad for the game, so they reverted it. They regret her being a viable pick

I still think she is viable on some maps but you'll have to think about what you're doing instead of running it down like an absolute maniac

She was always viable but it wasn't worth putting in the time to learn her. Since the gigabuff a lot of pros learnt her. Now she's back to basics but pros have put some time into her, so she will definitely still see some play!
