So I haven't actually used twitter much but signed up to check on kr martial law issue.
Been lurking last 2-3 days and holy shit its a hell hole.

like after browsing for some time I feel pure rage, and like for no reason. Its like people
People saying dumb shit, news of abuse, politics etc - but everywhere I feel the need to comment.
I'm out of there for sure.

How do yall stay sane with this shit??

dont get mad about shit that doesnt directly involve you. or just block the accounts if you keep seeing the same retard over and over again.

like I type out responses and then delete because the realization kicks in. but not caring is best like you said.

i use twitter daily, like its the only social media i use. i mainly use it for football, valorant or any esports news for that matter and connecting with random people. so you know you can choose what you want in your feed

twitter has turned into the cesspool of humanity mate. 70% of it is bots so that should be enough of a warning

I tried setting up a twitter yeeeeeears ago when my girlfriend and I thought it would be a good idea to sign up. Didn't know much about how to use it at the time since all we were really used to was Facebook where you can friend people. For some reason Twitter was slow at updating and we couldn't see each others accounts right away. We thought there was a problem of some sort and so I deactivated my account, intending to recreate it in hopes of that fixing the problem. I read 7 of the 8 warnings they gave me at the time of deactivating and decided to continue. The 8th warning was about not being able to use the same user name as the deactivated account. I never went back. While there have been plenty of times I would have loved to join or promote a raffle of some sort for a company/content creator I liked, I'm really glad to have dodged the bullet of the hellscape that Twitter has become.

Wait till you get to the indian side of twitter. Anyways a lot of Valorant producers abd casters have moved to bluesky. There's a decent sized val community there including fans. Try that. It also has custom feeds, so you can only use the Valorant feed or follow feed , etc. You can also mute braindead words some bot accoubts use to trigger you.

can't imagine Indian side. like the world has gone to chaos post covid.
people spent too much time online and decided to be anti social and hateful.
I've personally become a lot less than the man I was, slowly improving.

thanks for bluesky recommendation, but honestly I'll avoid joining for now.
