2 years ago with 500+ hours of playtime i was peaked diamond 1 with 60 hz monitor & very broken pc (i5 4300 max 90 fps 😭)

Last year i bought new pc with 300+ fps & 180 hz monitor, while waiting for my uni graduation schedule, i want to play again until this seasons ends. what do you think will be my highest peak consider how i played it ?

My favorite agents is duelist & sentinel. I play all of them 2 roles unless Yoru. I dont actually learn any lineup or setup, just figuring it out myself

I play valorant to have fun, so i dont actually train before competitive games, I dont train on the range / deathmatch / tdm because it felt like a task / burden to me if i had to do that everytime i wanna play, i dont like it. Therefore my aim is not consistent, i try to shoot head only with vandal because i find it hard to spray, its insufferable how many 120+ damage i get with vandal ngl

My rank now is plat2 & i am aiming for ascendant this season. Do you think its achievable considering that ?

Theres no way i reach immortal with my messy aim. From what i watched on YT, immortal players have quite masters their agent ability to the max. My ass dont even know how to one way on small objects

Not with that attitude! I say just play reyna and chamber since you don't want to learn utility. Get good at peaking and you don't even need good aim, you'd be surprised.

nah this guy doesn't warm up or aim train, no lineups and he's going in wtih the mindset that he's gonna quit afterwards. no setup guides either when one of his main roles is sentinel.

Welp I just hit ascendant 1 tonight. Not as hard as i thought. Still pretty doable without aim training but definetly cant catchup to ascendant 3 or even immortal with my aim rn

Ascendant is doable but you need to consistently practice good mechanics. You need to maximize your impact and that’s best done by converting your duels so that you can create man advantages.

Game sense and utility abuse doesn’t become a hard wall to progression until high Ascendant/low Immortal. Just focus on micro-mechanics: aim, movement, and gun hygiene.

Youre right. Ascendant seems pretty doable especially when im already Diamond 2 now.

Dude, its kinda felt too easy if i can ranked up to ascendant this month, because i feel like theres no much improvement on my aim. Is the valorant rank easier now ? Are the good players (ascendant & up) are leaving the game ? Or am i just undevalued myself

Depends on your region and what time of day you play. I’ve found that playing before the evening when kids get out of school results in higher quality matches.

It could just be that your other skills are improving and you’re taking more advantageous fights that don’t require drastic aim improvement. Half of aim is just anticipation dude — maybe you’re just more mindful of the fights you’re about to take?

I was struggling on diamond 3 until later it was easier to ranked up on the last act. Diamond 3 games in my experience kinda weird bcs i dont get much match with team comms which is pretty sad.

Theres no way i cant reach immortal rn bcs my aim is a mess so i will stop climbing rank now
