sentinels cz your abilities to hold a site down are reduced to stall or js info gathering, even worse when they have to anchor which is like a big % of situations

because senti is the easiest role and initiator hardest in general, but at pro play the players are so much better. might make me lean towards senti or duelist

i might be biased because i play senti and find it so easy. i have 70% winrate and 1.2-1.4 k/d with kj in immortal, but i feel like initiator is so much harder and i have to work so much more

senti is not the hardest lmao all you need to do is have a setup for a site and just hold it down for your teammates to come. Your cypher trip gets triggered? just swing out and kill them. Your kj alarmbot gets triggered/they start planting? pop a molly. Its not that hard lmao.

Duelist: First engagement, has to bait out util, occasionally has to entry onto a site with 3 people on it, basically set up to die.
Controller: Bait the team basically, sit back and don't die.
Sentinel: On defense - google some random setup and hold the site and don't be stupid, on attack - put up a trip/turret and go lurk.
Initiator: Basically dump all of your util and comm.

And if someone actually played initiator this way they would lose every game, that is the number 1 mistake of all initiator players

Well I've watched every VCT game since 2022 and also have played over 600 games on sentinel so I should have a good idea on what a sentinel's role is. But ig if you think I'm wrong you should say why I'm wrong instead of just saying "I feel u don't get it".

What I wrote for initiator was me just being lazy and not trying to type allat, ofc you ain't gonna be dumping your util but it covers the main topics, use your util and comm it.

It’s like you’re talking about the game strictly as if it was a one site execute every time

Sentinel on haven is much different than the way you describe it, and googling setups is not nearly enough to play it correctly

Duelist, you need to play off the agents's util u have on your team, and have to have good aim to get first bloods

I think duelist as a pro player
since as a pro, everyone has cracked aim, you can't (outside of a handful of exceptional players) rely on your aim to carry you. You have to make small micro decisions which let you outplay your opponents.

In general duelist
For your mental health sentinel (I fking love when I have Cypher camera for mid from market on Sunset and my teammate closes the market at the start of the round and when I don't place the camera next round there he leaves the doors open - that shit happend way too many times)
