What hs% is considered high in valorant, just curious to compare it in cs, where above 55% is high, but I have seen people say 30% is high in val?

is registration different or something? I am really surprised to see it lower, given that the hitbox is slightly bigger

Valo has many utility shiz, spam , plus the bullet inaccuracy and all

I would probably enjoy val way more if the shooting mechanics were as in CS, strafing and shooting just doesn't feel as good

Ya so:

  1. Valo favours more Run N Gun before recent patch so, it was kinda abuse and better to have RnG at close
  2. Idk this happens in CS or no but the rifle here (Vandal) has a certain inaccuracy like if u do 5 1-tap at the same position without moving mouse only 4 will hit head or smthing like dat

yeah see that's the reason I dislike the shooting :D Like in CS, if I don't kill I understand that ''oh shit yeah I did whiff a spray'' or ''well I kinda microadjusted last second'' but in valorant i have this paranoia that what I did was fine and some bullshit RNG happened

In CS headshot kills count as hs so if a fuy shoots 2 bodies 1 hs thats 100% in CS, in val thats 33% . The guy who commented under is wrong

Ohhhhh damn I didn't knew dat
So isn't it wrong ?
Like the valo one right

To me no method is wrong, but I like the valorant one more actually as you can track your aim discipline and assess crosshair placement, whereas in CS it's a bit irrelevant with rifles (you can't tell if you have improved just based on data, like you could be spraying like crazy and just getting a bit lucky and end up with an 80% hs game and then wonder why u fell off when ur stats get worse, even though you could have gotten better in reality)

I think if the calculations were done the same way CS pros would actually end up under val players as spraying is more rewarding in CS . (Check out what a d0nk peek is and tell me that game is not balanced for spraying xdd).

spraying is a skill of its own inside of CS, tapping is pretty much pistols + long range, spray is close and mid range as well

Definetely at a higher level, but I never got that good at cs :))

this game has smoke spams, and much other things compared to CS so anything above 35-40% is considered high

I mean I play at relatively high ranks and utility spam + smoke spam happens at every choke point at every full buy, I have a 66% hs rate cuz I abuse low sens

oh and correction, I don't play val, I was talking about cs, just seen a few people mention in this thread https://www.vlr.gg/424653/is-this-guy-legit-or-cheating that >35% hs is sus

the question is what does this have to do with val

#19

I misunderstood your question because I have thought I mentioned I had 66% hs in cs, not in val (don't enjoy the shooting mechanic too much), 4 hours of sleep kicking in

in cs its also counted differently, its just kills not every hit bullet like in valorant

#26

o wow didnt know that

#28

That kinda makes sense and kinda doesn't to me.

#32
u

Frags

yeah, if u hit someone twice to the body and kill him with the third bullet to the head, its 100% hs rate vs. in valorant it would be 33%

#33
Nef0r0

Frags

so in val it's basically hs/bullet shot and in cs it's hs/kill

#35
u

yea but hs/bullet HIT in val to be exact

I wonder what hs% he would have if he grinded CS instead, probably around 54-58 is my guess

I think it’s counted differently

Killing shots vs total shots

#25
Nef0r0

Frags

oh is it? That kinda explains it

#45
sanknight
0
Frags

depends

too high is bad cuz it's showing how you probably miss all the body shots that matter (these are my silver-gold friends averaging 9 kills in an unrated game with absurdly high hs%)

and too low is bad too cuz yea should be obvious

25-35% is the sweet spot I feel like (check almost any pros tracker and this is what they usually hover around)

above 25% is high
