I mean if there was one team that would be okay with taking her it would be Apeks. They have nothing to lose. This brings the clout.

Mfers who never cared about Apeks will start pretending that Florescent is ruining their favourite team the second she fumbles even for a second
Everyone on here is talking about why this is a bad move so let me explain the potential positive
She will prolly be the best player, and since the rest of the team is bad she will have more frags available to look individually more impressive
Examples; Aspas on loud vs lev , chronicle on gambit vs fnc, something on sg vs prx
Maybe a bit of cope but being the sole good player on the team does allow her to stand up more

Nope you're wrong. It's a team game my friend. Look at other emea teams; every team is stacked af. Also Apeks made a clever PR move, but it's not a good move for Flor. It would be difficult for her to play in T1 because apeks is shit and most likely won't win a single game. she will face more transphobia than GC, particularly when she is only 18 and playing in Europe.
I understand where ur coming from, if a team is shit all the individual players will obviously play worse and their stats will suffer
But if apeks hits the sweet spot between utter shit and good (9th-5th) in the league then flor will likely have insane stats as a result of being setup to carry everyone (setup with utility as the duelists and having the mechanics to get the kills which her teammates can’t get)
Dude it's practically impossible for apeks to hit that sweet spot I mean look at that roster. Avova and molsi are T1 rejects and should've retired a long time ago. Hype was their second worst or even worst player (except ascension finals) and i don't even know who's their 5th player. They didn't even made a single good move after winning ascension when so many good options were available. Tell me a single team whom they can beat on paper? Koi? Maybe. M8? I don't think so. BBL? not a chance and these three are supposedly bottom 3 teams of emea
I think it’s a bad move, I think she knows the team sucks, I think she just wants to play good players, but without going thru tier 2
Apeks is the worst team in emea by far, the second worst is Navi or koi who both look significantly better. This is on top of gentle mates who apeks have to be better than to stay in franchise. This team is going to stink up emea, but I guess flors goal is to just get exposure without going thru the shitty tier 2 system.
Best scenario: Flor and apeks are good somehow and stay in franchising another year, doing the impossible as a massive underdog
Good scenario: Flor does well despite the team being ass, and finds future tier 1 opportunities
What I think happens: the team is trash, gets relegated, every remaining player either goes back to tier 2 or retires
Worst case scenario: Flor struggles to adapt to the higher level of play, and gets scapegoated despite apeks being doomed from the beginning. Game changers stock drops heavily, and players are less likely to receive chances at the highest level
I do agree, even though I think Molsi never had the chances of showing his true potential (his OGLU form). But saying that Florescent is somehow more deserving of VCT spot while never even have played in proper tier 2 is just insane. Like the way people are talking here is like if Florescent was exact or even better replacement for Kaajak who was arguably the best duelist in tier 2 EMEA. People didn't even trash rest of Apeks this much when Kaajak was fragging for them.

Additionally, the others have all proven their ceiling in tier 1, avova has been on tier 1 teams and has not looked great, hype was downright horrible the year he was on tier 1, I think Molsi looked decent but yeah, flors the unknown who we don’t know how good she is so she is getting hype
Yeah I'm not biggest fan of the players either(outside of molsi in the past), but saying that they are bad players while saying how Florescant might get the spotlight as the solo carry is insane when they are so much more proven players who have played in the big leagues. Like you could say the exact same thing about Batujnax(if he is the 5th) and how he is going to carry this team of weaker individual and be the next star, but no one would say that because it has no backing whatsoever.
Like I don't know how Florescent will end up doing, but its just insane to see people talk shit about Apeks' existent roster when they should be happy and surprised that Florescent even made it to any VCT team to begin with. On paper she should be the worst duelist in EMEA VCT.

I think most people are just worried that transphobes and misogynists will use apeks failing as a chance to flame flor and blame her and pretend that with a male duelist would have done well and shit on her when the existing core wouldn’t have done great even without her
On a side note, I personally think there is a far greater connection to ranked performance and playing well in pro play in valorant as opposed to cs for an example, so I actually do believe that flor will play quite wel (this is based on previous ranked demons and their performances, as opposed to cs onliners choking on LAN)
I do agree that there are better options with more potetial, and I do agree that this will likely generate transphobia etc. BUT what did people expect? That the first GC player in VCT was going to join top team? Fnatic Florescent? Teams like Apeks or other bottom feeders are literally the only possible teams that could look for absolutely best GC player(s). That was always going to happen. And somehow blaming it on the rest of roster is crazy. Like if the 3 were on their knees right now thanking the god that out of all the duelists they got the one and only future superstar Florescent.
Who knows how well she ends up doing, but the expectations right now should be that she is likely going to struggle no matter her team. And its funny that I've already seen countless of these "she might struggle because her team is shit" comments already coping and using it as the excuse if she ends up shitting the bed.
and I do agree that this Apeks roster is going to be bad in VCT no matter which duelist they got
