How did GE almost lose a map to a T2 SA team which was playing with a Sub, that too at a ping disadvantage??! Makaveli was one of OG's best players, so I thought both the matches would be one sided. I know this is their first game, but with all the odds stacked in their favour, one would expect them to win a bit more convincingly.

I remember that match. However, that was a full-fledged LAN tournament with equal ping for both teams. And even the TR squad had been playing together for quite a while. Here OG was playing with a sub, and from what I've read they were playing at a higher ping too.

dude, they were playing on 60-65 ping while ge was on 75-80 ping except Patrick who was playing on 30 ping but was sick

I mean atleast let the event end lol
From what I saw, they are good
Need more time together to build chemistry which they will now since everyone but Patrick is at the bootcamp
First event together
Give them time
Oh also Haven has historically been OG's map if I do remember correctly
But regardless of that, I am just happy on how good OG is looking
They clear every team in VCL South Asia as long as they don't start thinking they are 2024 M80 and try unnecessary comps like triple Sentinel on Lotus which they have never tried before and fumble the map 5 of a tournament (based on true events btw)

OG's roster hasn't existed for enough time to have a historical good map .
They have already lost on haven to RGE and got demolished in finals by mogo 13-5 on Haven.
If this is the final lineup they will perpetually remain 2nd best in India i will be happy to be proven wrong though, Predator league India qualifiers starting tomorrow watch then finish 2nd again lol.

The last tournament the Lotus comp was so troll
That M80 comp requires a lot of things to go perfect
It's not something you just whip out
I don't know why they picked that

It's not just that they are only better than mogo at ascent and icebox and even ascent is bcz of their great comp . Mogo's ascent is historically strong to the point that lot of T1 teams scrimmed them specifically on that map , I am sure Mogo has ability to counter OG's unorthodox comps next time when they play ascent.

I think it was udotan who said that KellyS was nervous in the first game so i wouldn't really read into it too much. It's a good thing they cleanly finished the 2nd game tho
