Only thing that comes to my mind is just it being a clout and impression move if it actually happens. Like first GC player making it to tier 1 and Florescent is already known name in the scene. But there's no way they would go from pretty experienced decent-to-good tier 2 duelist to a player who has only been playing in GC. Like put Lime to SR or other top GC team and see how he performs.

Idk about APEKS but for us it would interesting to see a GC player on T1 and we would be able to judge the difference between GC and T1 directly ...... don't wanna say this but if this becomes true Flor would have a really huge responsibility on her shoulder
