i turned 15 4 weeks ago and hit ascendant recently. I've sort of always been talented at fps and until ascendant have just used my aim to get me there and have had my brain turned off. If i grind out my mechanics and obtain a better game understanding and just overall grind tf out of this game could i maybe make it pro? (btw help me choose a sens 0.4/0.5/0.45 800 dpi

Just alternate between these sensitivities and you're good. Best of luck

And if you go pro, two things:

  • Better you family be at least above mediun wage.
  • Have you family support.

These two are essential.

Definitely, if you're putting in 40 hour weeks into something that probably won't turn out well, you need something to fall back on and a backup plan, and a family who can support you is the best way to do this

Game sens is vital, grind for Immo and play scrims asap. Study pro vods from pov of IGLs and use community resources to train your brain. Act like it's a school subject and you have to revise. If you're not willing to do this, you will NOT make it

I full-heartedly agree with H3ENnZ and Laundry... it is NOT a good idea to go pro, because there's a very low chance you make it into tier 1, and even if you do, it's only a viable profession until you're in your early 30s at the latest, at which time you'd have to do something else entirely.

HOWEVER, if you are completely dead-set on this idea, then here's my take on how you can get there:

  1. Climb to radiant (or at the very least immortal 3)
  2. Form a premier team with other radiants
  3. Win premier
  4. Make it into Challengers (tier 2)
  5. Perform very well (this may help you get noticed by tier 1 teams, but even if you get here, nothing is guaranteed)
  6. Receive offers from orgs if you're good enough
(Note: alternatively, your team could go on to win Ascension, which would also get you into tier 1 if your org decides to keep you or if another tier 1 team thinks you're good and buys you out)
  7. Profit (well, some profit, anyway... wages differ depending on the org, but if you're first heading into tier 1, then you're not going to be worth very much)

Good luck with whatever you decide to do with your future. 🫡

I hit immortal at 15 and 1 month and it’s still over for me

You need to commit really hard and put hours in constantly, look for people to help you on your journey once it’s possible, get connections and stuff. I didn’t do any of that stuff, I talked to girls and did homework more. Don’t follow that path, commit fully to valorant and u may have a chance

Even then it might not work

Wouldn't recommend it, if your very confident then go for it but please don't spend all of your time on it and focus on school, also 0.4 800DPI is the best sens ever I use it lol

There a lot of succesful/cracked players from underdeveloped countries

Johnqt, avez, sayonara, most turkish players, ANGE1, dos9. And that's only Valorant players

You are from a poor country anyway so why not just try. You could feed your whole village if you made it

it would be amazing if you were to go pro but it just isn't gonna happen

Realistically nah, ascendant isnt even anywhere close to being pro, people your age have hit radiant alot of times.

Just pick one sens and stick with it, changing your sens is very bad for your long term skill. I know some pro players do it, but that does not mean that it is the best way to improve. If i were to choose, i would pick 0.4 800, any faster isnt needed.

I am gonna be harsh, whatever you see on twitch youtube twitter ain't true.
forget about becoming pro as first option, even last option for that matters.

go to school, work when you can and you will be alright.
