look at the prices of their merch and look at how many fans show up to events wearing them, surely that has to be offsetting a decent chunk of it right?

I wanted to buy a T1 jacket and its literally 156 US dollars, probably gonna get it as a gift at some point but regardless that + viewership on content should be making back a decent bit of it

well theyre highly profitable for a number of reasons :

  1. fakers salary is paid by the parent company and no the org so they don't have money issues due to that.
  2. t1 gets mega sponsors(like Mercedes) so they're rolling in cash from the sponsors cause they got faker
  3. they're js won the worlds last year and got money from ingame skins(js like csgo team stickers)
  4. they're sponsored by SK telecom which is a massive company
