Does DM even have matchmaking?

Just went against ZER lux9 in DM https://www.vlr.gg/player/14612/lux9, along with 2 other immos and 3 ascendants. I'm literally fucking gold. Wtf is wrong with riot? My hidden mmr can't be that high

It kinda does, it's based on how well you do in your last few matches. If you win 3 games in a row top fragging you'll get into high elo lobbies if you lose 3 bottom fragging you get into low elo lobbies. It's really rough and not perfect because it's supposed to be a quick game mode

Technically yes, but I went against Jawgemo and Aspas back to back when I was in bronze so clearly not the best :/ (I diffed jawg btw)

I face at least 1 pro in TDM like once every 10 games
