feels like literally no one gives a fuck honestly. I don’t think anyone cares about EDG winning over here, GENG won Masters for Pacific but it wasn’t PRX to do it so there’s barely any emotional weight, SEN won that one event with 8 teams so it’s kinda whatever, like will 2024 even be remembered at all?

I don’t think anyone gaf about Masters Madrid but SEN fans, I’ve seen GENG fans leave out their team placing 2nd in Madrid when listing their achievements this year by accident. I can’t even recall who came 4th or 3rd

Agreed, felt like the events weren’t as hype this year. There are some insane moments but overall 2022 and 2023 were the better years. Happy for China and APAC’s first trophy though and it was fun to watch GenG’s run

People say this same thing every year, the format was kinda shitty but the only teams that really got screwed were DRX NAVI and RRQ. Also EDG replaced a player, all their coaching staff and swapped igl and then became the best team itw, it was definitely not a fluke. Sens win just shows how important the off season is and will incentivise teams to participate more. Overall a good season but I just think western fans got bad timezones and their teams weren’t winning so they’ll say it was a bad year

not really? ive only been a fan since the start of 22 but the tourneys in 22 and 23 were very memeroble. Shanghai is the first time ive felt as a viewer like the tourney did not hold weight. Champs did hold weight but it didnt feel like the other champs events, more like a normal masters
