if you rewatch it, you will notice that the dash was not a bad idea. he had a teammate coming from art. if he held in front of him instead of panicking and smoking, it would look like a genius play. the smoke prevented his teammate from trading him. he did not need to turn around because his teammate would kill the person wrapping if there even was one. the enemy is probably trying to find a 2v1/2v2 before all 4 EG players can get to site and yay was just trying to close the gap between him and his other 2 teammates coming from CT.
