At the ludwig x tarik ,he was there for some time and a question was asked wheather they have plans to introduce a skin specially for champs winners only, to that he said they all had a discussion about it and eventually came to no for an answer for the time being as he said it takes them atleast a year to make gun skins and thus by the time the skins will be ready for the winners it will be the next champs but this dazzles me since lol gives special skins to worlds winner and so don't they face a similar problem???

Well yeah they do, league skins take a varying amount of time depending on the skin 1-3 years though. League is different for 2 reasons. 1.) worlds is considered the only very important event and msi is whatever. So they only focus on worlds 2.) league is a bigger and older game than valorant, the hype after a team wins is carried on for a very long time so even if the skins produced are a year late they still sell very well. Remember that riot were afraid that the vct capsules wouldnt even do well, now think about that fear but it takes a whole year after to develop imagine wanting to get an ascend skin after loud win champs, guess what the ascend bundle wouldnt sell that well
Imagine you support eg, valorant then take that year to develop an eg skin.
Then eg drops its roster because they are poor and people get super pissed.
EG then struggle throughout the season and barely get any wins.
Riot then release the skin
Are you telling me that atleast 70% of the eg fans last season would by the eg skin bundle that would come out right now?

The concept of the gun need to be well thought out
A gun cant feel too stiff and needs to inspected serveral times
you need the gun to look like the gun its meant to represent (when holding, when on the ground, when the enemy is holding it)
You need to make sure the gun is on theme and doesnt break away the core concept
You need the sound and animation to be different but also still match that of the default gun (such as the rate of fire)
A gun cant take too many resources off your computer
Sometimes a gun has been animated and had the gun effects done but once put in game, felt terrible to most people and was scrapped
listen I am sad to break it to you but you clearly don't have experience with sales man void pitch.
If you watch closely he never say no, he always says "we are open about the idea, we are thinking about it, we have a plan", in plain simple vlr english it's a No.
He is just careful about his comms cause he is paid for it that's all, think of him as your average politician andy who never gets a thing done and leaves with the bag.
