Kinda interesting how DRX, the best performing APAC team at champs is making huge roster changes, whilst teams like Team Secret and RRQ who didn’t even qualify for champs is making no / very little change
Invy, maybe? Sure he'd be a pretty inexperienced IGL, but I think it's within his capability to be a reliable one. He just need the right guidance and coaching, well of course, under Jessie when he decides to quit playing and just be part of the coaching staff.
Being a part of the team for almost 2(?) years now his teammates would definitely listen to him, even more so compared to a random IGL they pull from T2 PH. This isn't just a baseless statement though, if you've watched their mic checks you could hear him calling the shots(probably a secondary caller), and not only that, even Jessie himself called him their "Boy Genius."(Not gonna read too much into this, but that definitely at least holds some weight.)
Estrella is not that bad bro, look at his past team he can still top fragging as an igl. We will see them soon at redbull apac play in, I think we will know the answer either he is bad or not. After all he already learn English for 1 year, unlike before when he just barely know English and adapting in the new team.
yah like governer only can get kills when he play neon. you see when they play drx, gen , prx or other international teams, so much firepower is lacking from governor and craws
i think they keep surf sub. he is much better than most of the players in talon. some how other player igl, -craws +surf would be better. jitboys is best player on that team before premmie somehow after premmie join he doesn't frag also
Teams like TS and RRQ build their rosters brick by brick to ensure that roster changes do not ruin their positive growth. On the other hand, DRX probably think they had their ups before but are currently stagnant or have already reached their skill ceiling. A big roster change is likely the only way to fix this problem with the assumption the new roster gonna have a higher skill-ceiling or break their stagnant state as a roster.
