His team finished 9-10th in this split btw
Same. Honestly just depends on how the players transfer into tier 1 play, but I think they could be great underdog type of team. Click has bunch of potential and now has experienced guy like Zyppan to support him or play double duelist with. RobbieBk is an actual IGL even if unproven. Kadavra has always been solid and never really got the chance to play on good team. And Minny was one of the better sentinel players in tier 2.
Next year is going to be really exciting. There's already teams like Team Heretics, Team Vitality, FNATIC and even Karmine Corp, FUT who all can be expected to perform well unless something goes totally wrong. And then you have bunch of rosters with a lot of potential and I would not be surprised if some ended up performing better than expected. I honestly think that the only roster with low potential is Apeks.
NAVI might be sneaky good. I feel like koalanoob is around the same tier of firepower as ardiis. Honestly, if koalanoob is as good as an AWPer as these NA fans advertise then he'll be an awesome pickup. SUYGETSU is historically better than hiro but I won't be surprised if hiro is gonna be better than him this year. Ruxic being a cracked controller is actually pretty big since that prevents the team from nerfing itself when ANGE1 dies first as a controller. ANGE1 on flex as a planter (Gekko) or a secondary controller (Viper) seems great so he doesn't have to take too many gunfights. Finally Shao is Shao.
For Liquid, I really feel like paTiTek is the weak link. I don't think he'll ever play as well again as he did in Shanghai but I hope he proves me wrong. Kr1stal still would've been my pick since it also gives Liquid a dedicated IGL. For his role, kamyk is pretty solid. You won't find too many cracked Breach, KAY/O, Gekko players anyway so he's the next best thing. I feel like kamo would either be a top 3 or bottom 3 EMEA duelist next year, there's no in between. I'm also kinda excited to see Keiko on smokes. It's been a while since we've seen a controller player with good aim.
