Thanks man! Not actually stressed about getting married at all, easiest decision of my life.

More stress about everything going to plan, we have people flying in from Belgium, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France and even a couple from the US. The logistics side of it is stressful

We both don’t remember how we met exactly as we were both fairly drunk at a club. Her and her friend lost their other friend at whose place they would sleep that night. I had just moved to London and had moved into a 4 bedroom apartment and my other 3 housemates hadn’t moved in yet.

I must have seemed trustworthy enough, since I offered they could each get a bedroom in my apartment to stay for the night, and they agreed. Ever since then, she’d come to see me until we ended up seriously dating

We currently live in the Netherlands. It was either October or wait until next year, and didn’t wanna wait. Chose Spain because the weather is more guaranteed in October (it’ll be 23 degrees C today and 25C tomorrow).

Also for the same price of a 1 day wedding in NL, we’re now basically getting a full weekend here. We start today, have the actual ceremony etc tomorrow, and have a brunch & send-off on sunday.

Also, since she’s British/Irish, and I’m Belgian, and we live in the Netherlands, at least half of our guests would have to travel to another country to attend, so if people have to travel anyway, why not go to another country altogether?
