My 2nd favorite team is losing everyone from the og roster :( only MaKo left. I pray MaKo gets a trophy during his prime. He's been so consistently great just held back by his team. 2022 was DRX's best shot at winning but now it just looks like they're always gonna get 5-6th :(

Honestly 2025 might not be that bad.
Freeing is obviously good.
Flashback is a top 5 senti imo
leviathan and hyummin idk much about
Is mako gonna stay IGLing or someone else?

I think in the future, ppl will finally realize than MaKo was the only true ELITE talent DRX had in the old roster. BuZz was elite at time and same with rb but they have a tendency of choking. Termi is the main reason that team has ever really made it as far as they have. Like imagine dropping your igl, making you best player the igl, which will probably drop off his individual play, and still ending up top 6 and champs, that’s just elite coaching.

me personally I hate Termi for his 6 man idea in 23. This single handedly stopped DRX from being a title contending team. Lock//IN they got 3rd with their main 5 even after scrimming with Foxy9 alot. In Pacific regular season the only reason they got 2nd with Foxy9 was because the other teams were dog shit. They got exposed at Tokyo for it and then with LESS THAN A MONTH OF PRAC with no 6 man fuckery they get 5/6 at Champs 13-1ng FNC and almost upsetting them . If They never fucked around with 6 man they would have been actual title contenders. This team without the 6th man fuckery is my Roman Empire because they would have been the only core to dominate going into 23, the meta fit them perfectly, even on maps that they were bad at they improved into there best in less than a month (Split/Lotus went from their worst to their best)

i think your giving them too much credit for the lock/in performance. They didn’t play a single good team up until LOUD. Also, the roster was never really a 6-man roster. It was 5-man and a sub. Also, you could easily tell, that DRX had a massive drop off at the end of pacific, and that started the very 1st match foxy9 got subbed out. Also, the run in champs wasn’t that impressive either. They beat LOUD, which was alright, but also LOUD simply choked that match. There no way a team should ever lose a match when they are + 12 in first kills, yet somehow LOUF did. I saw the vision with foxy9. My problem was that termi went back on his decision. If you want to changes, stick to it, even if your having a rough patch.

Never a 6 man roster--> subbed out foxy for zest everytime they were against a good team/facing elimantion
DRX had a massive drop because they went from going against shitters to actual good teams where they were exposed
You are discrediting DRX here alot, they BEAT LOUD (3rd place team), even if LOUD 'choked' they choked because DRX took advantage and played well enough to win. They also Beat a solid Navi, came back on BLG, and almost upset FNC.

they played foxy9 every game in regular season except for last(the game they lost) played him in the first 2 playoffs matches, then they lost to PRX and subbed him out. Added him back for groups in Masters and subbed him out again. The fact he played the first 8 games is proof enough it wasn’t meant to be a 6-man roster, it was just they started losing faith in foxy

Def better than last year. Foxy9 used to play in the japanese league b4 joining DRX main roster, and even then, HYUNMIN would perform way better in those tournaments. I literally looked through foxy9 old tier 2 tournament performance and i’m starting to wonder what DRX saw in him, he must’ve went crazy in scrims. If there was a korean duelist that deserved to get picked by DRX at the time it should be HYUNMIN but he wasn’t old enough

Are you restarted foxy9 in 2022 was literally better statistically than hyunmin 2024. And that's not even accounting the fact that hyunmin is facing literal bum teams, he hasn't faced a single good team in challengers whereas foxy had to play against prime zeta and nth.

This ain't even hyunmin hate there's just no need to lie

hyunmin's play is definately greater than any other KR in VCJ, so DRX make a good decision imo. It's similar to the feeling I had when I saw Something.
