Wtf is this lol, is this the oldest academy roster by average 😂
None of these players are academy players
True, but 21 is not an age where you're going to an academy roster, especially tenten moothie and gangpin when they've been playing in VCJ for quite some time now
While academy players tend to be around 15-18yo, the main point is to grow players who have potential to be big in the esport, so age isn't necessarily a barrier
The previous roster had one of Carpe's old OW teammates, and Gatorada was on Sengoku Gaming's academy team for a bit after he transitioned from R6
its riots fault, they should have let them name B tam or something cuz they let francise team compete in tier 2 with academy and academy can be anyone
At this point, im convinced this team is soly to secure and develop exa, i also think we gotta givi this "academy team" thing a little time till it fully runs, i imagine T1 are gonna ne actively looking to replace the older pieces with younget ones over time
glad to see T1 continuing the tradition of importing korean americans
also the core of DH/TenTen/exa would be good enough for a team like DFM insane that this is an academy roster
DH started to decline the moment he gave hyunmin the duelist role, occasionally he still frags and cam reach high peaks, but it's definitely not as consistent as when he's on duelist
Tenten no longer looked like his nth days, and FAV looked better with Minty playing duelist.

DH's "decline" was only natural when:
- He had another hard fragger on his team in Hyunmin, meaning his frags will naturally be a lot lower than when he was in rig with a bunch canon fodders
- Sentinel naturally frags less than duelists. Not to mention it wasn't his main role.
- He changed roles, Idt i need to explain more. Despite that though he still looked insane vs mrsh.
His performance in cgz definitely wasn't something to be taken as a negative thing. Not only did he show that he's someone who's willing to give up roles and play other roles, he also can thrive in those other roles and for an incredibly young player that's an amazing trait to have.

Most of these players SHOULD NOT BE in an academy team when they should have nurtured young players instead of going for veterans.
T1 is not investing into the scene with this
But can you call this an academy team tho? This roster is basically just another tier 2 roster.
T1 is bending the rules just like scarz did which is one of my concerns with this "academy team" rules
this is positive for T2 Korea, cause every korean players keeps leaving for VCJ.
It's not that korean players are leaving vcj , it's more of notable korean players are leaving vcj, now the korean players are unknown players like flora, ady and jaxe etc.
But it is indeed decreasing.
Also if T1 keeps up with this it might be good in the short run, but this is bad for the long run, the concept of academy team is you nurture young players with potential turning them into a good player ready to replace the existing team.
academy team won't be able to play in ascension for a reason. If the roster is good enough to qualify to ascension (which they can't), means T1 can actually pick them up straight from academy, or any other team can pick them up (nurture young talent). T1 can also do the EG thing.
That's kinda scummy imma be honest , none of these players except exa are academy , all of them basically played in vcj for a long time alr😂
T1 has the money, also securing these guys b4 getting contract jailed by Dplus is not bad.
yep, even if they win ascension they won't be able to be part of the league unless some org buys them out (which is very very expensive)

he got 2nd in Split 1 VCJ but wasn't talked about very much, mainly because that was the point in time where Akame Brian and Hals were just killing everyone
and the reserve roster can play in VCL, seems like a good idea to me (BUT IT MEANS THAT TENTEN AINT ON MAIN ROSTER SO IT HAS TO BE HYUNMIN PLEASE)
it needs to happen, but also ig that they still lack a 5th if Xccurate isnt there anymore
ok T1 academy TenTen makes a lot more sense than whatever was rumored a few weeks back lol
