Couple things. They said yesterday they had sent an offer for someone that wasn’t Minny or Flyuh, so I assume is this. That being said I assume the Minny and Flyuh things are very much real so he must be talking about a duelist.

And last year they basically could’ve sign anyone until the end of the summer so they didn’t really compete for any signings, ence doesn’t make sense that they tried to sign someone and couldn’t because everyone already had the teams made. The only signing they did try last year and we know of is Sayf, which Ig fits the duelist description, but there’s no way that happens

With more context there's 4 possibilities that would fit the situation

Impossible: Sayf keznit (No way)
Realistic: Fitinho (most likely)
He got overhyped for no reason: Tomaszy (Unlikely why tf would he be so excited)
It's someone we never discovered they were after last year. (Unlikely)

im just guessing, bcs there r not many Duelists with lots of hype and Xeus had lots of hype, there r still many incredible T2 duelists but none of the free ones r so hyped like Xeus and Kaajak were or maybe even Izzy

Those guys have showed to be terrible at the roster game and worse at the actual game. It's better to except less than nothing from them to be actually surprised.

I don't buy that argument that Rogue just fucked them up with the contracts all by themselves.

How the fuck are you in a partnership and you don't oversee the contract duration. Also, why did this guys keep BarbaR that much time, guy was horrendous.
I know that a big part of the signings depends on the players wanting to play for your team, but let's be honest; none that wants to actually compete would like to join KOI, they have to aim for young talent and even young talent is not that tempted for KOI, see with hiro going for NaVi instead of KOI.

That's not the point. The thing is the break up and merger happened right during the off season. They didn't know which part was gonna keep the spot and who was supposed to pay for what. So basically when everything was solved everyone already had a roster

Grubi is good, i think the guy it's a nice bet for KOI but damn man, I would like to have faith in Sheydos because i was a Gambit fanboy but it's looking rough, i just can't trust a team that allows his IGL to have the worst fucking crosshair ever witnessed and keeps a coach that flops an 11-3 advantage against a FNC without pauses.
