Aside from them, why can't any Pacific team win a Champs trophy?

DRX and PRX for example, they have fallen flat during 2023 and 2024

*almost 4 years the esport start in 2021
Well because most APAC isn't really good at tactical fps
Especially the teamwork aspect of it
CS is popular in Korea and china but others not really
Most APAC plays CF and PB
A fast faced game where teamwork is not really encourage, planting the bomb is a rare wincon especially stalling it till explode, takes turn to solo 1 vs 4/5 each round, playing with no coms
Simply cannot take away the solo carry mentality instantly.

Give it another 2 or 3 years surely they will dominate. Well by 'they' i mean koreans and china but who knows singapore, japan and thai might be a silent powerhouse

cs is not popular in korea lmao and in china they only play because of skins, but yes its solely due to the west having way more tac fps experience overall. East is still playing catch up so china winning champs was wild. It might be faster than 2-3 years like you said.

Well i word it wrong
Im talking about early 2009-2014
CS is still more popular in china and korea compare to other regions back then, even when csgo release
But it doesnt mean CS is the most popular one but atleast well known enough to have esport team and dominating in asian
*SF for koreans

CS was never a hit in korea, even in 1.6
The scene was so small that the 2 team that existed couldn't even find teams in Korea to scrim. The only 'fps' they played was overwatch

Japan is more likely to be one tbh, the amount of investments even T2 orgs commit to the scene is crazy.

It's like they're so hell bent on catching up

Japan: Console game
South east asia: Mobile MOBA game
China: All
Korea: similar to china but less competition due to population
South Asia: Meh

This is my analyse of all apac team in champ
PRX : choke
DRX : 5-6
GenG : This is their first year in champ
Thai team : no chance
Japan team : worst than thai team
Indo/Ph : need to qualify before win its lol
