TH/OPTIC Comparision

People are saying that TH are not that good of a team on the base of not winning any of the finals, and I want to know if OPTIC never won reykavik would they be treated the same way? Optic lost both regional finals (vs TGRD and XSET) and in this timeline would have gotten 2nd at Reykavik and Champs and 3rd at Copenhagen

OPTIC lucky that FPX couldnt attend Reykjavik due to CIS war. otherwise OPTC would go 2nd, 3rd, 2nd and FPX(EU) would have 2 trophies in 2022 and go on an insane year run (1st, 1st, 4th - which is the same as FNATIC 2023)

the problem is optic did relatively well after reykjavik (3rd in copenhagen. 2nd in champs) if they were a one tourney wonder i would call it a fluke but overall the topic of that event is hard because FPX couldn’t attend and FNATIC had 2 subs, who knows how it would’ve went? I think LOUD would do fine since they beat G2 and TL

optic would win champs if they lost in reykjavik
after they won they didn't have the same drive, which is understandable.
only fnc has ever won two tournaments in one year, and one was an invitational (no league play so no antistratting beforehand)
