you would rather have a year where 2 teams dominate everyone instead of 8 teams that look decent and could actually beat each other? are you guys mentally disadvantageous?
super teams are really a double edged sword. On one hand them clashing can become a fucking blockbuster series, but if there's like one superteam it just shits on all other teams and spirals every single other team into constant shuffles, and there is no guarantee these changes will make the teams better.
Example Given, navi 2021 in CS. Team outfragging every other team won like 7 events in a row, established multiple maps won streak and made every single event a ''will any team take a map off of navi?'' It did lead to other teams changing, but changes would happen anyway, that time in CS was just them farming every single team
And it clears 2021-2022 by a mile where it was just Navi shitting on everyone, then navi collapsed due to war and then faze shat on everyone. 2024 is the best year for cs, teams like navi, mouz, vitality, faze, spirit, g2 are all title contenders, teams like heroic, liquid, complexity, vp, mongolz, pain, 9z, astralis are all capable of taking a series off of them.
Agree in some parts, we still had some cool rivaly on this season, but are less hyped than these sayed from you.
Why? Bc Fnatic, Optic and Loud was super teams, so the crash allways was powerfull but the other games was boring.
But in this season, we do not have super teams, just a lot of strong teams, this is good.
The gap bettwen a Loud to any other team in Champions was huge, now isnt that far, this means that teams are getting stronger, and are catching up the "Ex super teams" level.
