when are we going to realize that NA is much more deserving of the ascension slots? lmfao. top 4 teams in NA T2 are all for sure better than the top teams in LATAM T2.

I fuck wit brazil t2 tho so I think them getting slots is fine. Could be as simple as 3 NA 2 BR and 1 LATAM (or they could just make it an 8 team tournament, which would be much better imo).

we've seen that teams can improve over time (m80 was the #1 seed going into ascension but still lost to the guard).

If two teams from NA challengers qualify, everyone will always wonder whether the third team (whether that is DZ, M80, OXG, MxS) could've won the entire thing if they just had more time and just had the LAN environment.

call me overconfident but i dont think we have much to worry about anyway. I think NA T2 is pretty fucking insane right now, especially considering our ascension team is literally going to champions right now, our teams will stomp damn near every other T2 pretty easily i think. Hoping MXS gets the spot

Tier 2, just like tier 1 divides slots evenly and that's how it should stay.

No criteria will be fair to give out slots other wise. One could even argue LATAM deserves the most slots for having placed the best this year in VCT. It's pointless

It would be more convenient for Verno to lose a match along the way than to win Ascension and stay in OXG. Since they would lose the chance to move to a partner team.
