Yes, there will probably be an announcement at the end of this month or next month.

Just recently, he removed the term "Professional VALORANT Player" from his X account biography.

Do you think they will make such changes as in CS2 division?

RIOT perceives R8 as a Levant North African team, like RA'AD.

posted 3 months ago

It would be more convenient for Verno to lose a match along the way than to win Ascension and stay in OXG. Since they would lose the chance to move to a partner team.

Road Race. But since Tadej won't be participating, it will be a bit boring.

If Sayonara can meet the age limit next year, he should be recruited to the team.

The overall level of the leagues is not much different (except for Apeks, of course), but the point is that the popularity of Japanese league is unusual compared to Nordic league.

posted 3 months ago

Ah, that's why BoDork was jealous of that region.

posted 3 months ago

Yes, but isn't that the same for VALORANT? Are there any African-American athletes who are accepted in tier 1?
Besides, there are numerous American and Canadian athletes in road racing. And of course the Latin region as well. Even Asia would have had an impressive run by Shinjo.

Haha, I like ROGLIČ better, the fans who cheer Tadej are a bunch of wannabe fans.

BIG4 contend for General Classification.
Romain Bardet, who is participating in this year's Tour for the last time, won the first stage and wore the Maillot Vert for the first time.
Mark Cavendish broke the Tour's all-time wins record.
Biniam Girmay became the first rider of African descent to win a stage and wear the Maillot Vert.

This year's Tour de France is very interesting.

If they lose to ZETA, they do not play GENG in the first round of the playoffs.
They did not take a single timeout despite losing their game against ZETA.
They used the Off-meta configuration in Ascent and Haven.
Need to investigate whether TLN committed a losing action in the game against ZETA.

posted 4 months ago

Yes, I agree, it's a good idea. There is no way that anything we amateurs can come up with would not have been tried by the pros during the off-season scrims before the 2024 season starts. lol

posted 4 months ago

TLN will have little chance of playing GENG in the first round of the playoffs if they lose this game. This means that TLN can expect to earn more points in the playoffs than if they beat ZETA.
That is enough reason for TLN to lose ZETA. Please stop match fixing

bad human. FENNEL should fire him.

It is horrifying that such a distributor was in a Masters show match. He should be punished in some way.

All the Koreans on the Japanese team seem to speak good Japanese.

Only from an acquaintance who is close to the competition scene. But he's in a position where he doesn't want it known publicly, so I can't name names.

Although there is some favoritism, I see potential in Caedye.

Some of the stories I feel are mere speculation, but given the current state of ZETA this year, some of them seem credible

1.There had been talk that ZETA would rebuild its roster if it did not do better than the 2023 season, but the loss to DFM seems to have made the rebuild definitive. This would be a larger rebuild than the 2021-22 season.

2.Laz, hiroronn, and Yuran are released, leaving only SugarZ3ro and Dep on the team; SugarZ3ro will play a full-fledged IGL role; Dep will play as a flex, not a duelist. (Dep has a very large agent pool, and he himself would prefer flex as long as there are other good duelists). Three targets for reinforcement are duelist, sentinel and main initiator.

3.Laz is highly likely to retire. He's previously mentioned retiring once he's no longer needed by the team and expressed no interest in moving to another team in YouTube videos. He also has no intention of becoming a streamer or coach and will likely pursue a different path in real life.

4.They are aiming to acquire Meiy (DFM) as a duelist, but DFM is unlikely to let him go. Therefore, Absol (MRSH) appears to be their top choice. Though just turned 18 this year, he's one of the top duelists in Japan's tier 2 scene. The question is whether MRSH's owner (Junichi Kato) will allow his release. If they fail to secure Absol, SyouTa (FL) is their second choice, though he's undecided between continuing as a pro or retiring.

5.Yatsuka (RID) is rumored to fill the vacant sentinel position left by Laz's retirement, given his past affiliation with ZETA Academy unless RID wins Ascension.

6.Xdll (FL), CLZ (FL), NOBITA (SG), and Caedye (RID) are options as initiators. To be honest, all four are not attractive options; Xdll has experience for his age, but is greatly underperforming in Split2 and has concerns about his behavior; CLZ's experience as IGL will help SugarZ3ro, but he is not as good as Sauva and Fayed; and Caedye is not as good as RID, but he is not as good as RID. Caedye is young but has not yet reached its full potential at present; given the failures of hiroronn and Yuran, it is a risky move. If they cannot get a good initiator, they may even get Aace as a smoke and SugarZ3ro, who is responsible for IGL, may turn initiator. A slight possibility, but also a scenario where Reita (MRSH) returns to ZETA, since Laz is out and there are no veterans.

7.They are considering actively recruiting foreign players, previously staunchly opposed, as long as there are no communication issues. Two listed options are half-Japanese Yotaa (SZ) and Yoshii (SZ). Yotaa becomes an option if Meiy, Absol, or SyouTa aren't acquired. Yoshii is a choice between sentinel and second duelist, competing with Yatsuka.

8.If SugarZ3ro's IGL doesn't work, Kr1stal (ex-SZ) is also an option. He is smart as an IGL, strong in shootouts, and can handle the initiator role, which is ZETA's biggest problem. Another candidate is vici (ex-SG), who was on the same team as Something, but he lacks credibility.

9.They seem committed to also bringing in Fadezis (SZ) and Toraneco (ex-SZ, now caster) as staff if they intensify efforts to recruit foreign players. Toraneco, fluent in English despite being Japanese, has close ties with Yoshii and Kr1stal, bridging Japanese players with foreign players and half-Japanese players, and is noted for his high Vaslorant IQ. Whether as a coach or analyst is unclear, but it will certainly be a positive addition.

10.Carlão will definitely be dropped from his coaching position. He already wants to go back to the BR team (probably FURIA, where he used to be). It is said that former ZETA coach XQ will return, but this is unlikely if Fadezis and Toraneco join the team.

For players in ZETA, it is known that they are subjected to excessive pressure that does not match the reality of the team. So it seems that tier 2 players want to stay with the team even if ZETA offers them a job. If the restructuring is not decisive at an early stage and the players do not give up this season, they risk repeating the same mistakes they made this year in 2025.

Hi, thanks to you Polaris looks better than Portugal.

This is probably due to the success of teams owned by very popular streamers such as Kameto and Gotaga. It is the result of their audience's interest in the French competitive scene itself.

Many FURIA fans used to criticize Carlao's coaching and dgzin for everything wrong in a vlr thread, is that right?

posted 11 months ago

It's obvious if you look at the number of rounds and what they had in their match against FNATIC.

posted about a year ago

Obviously. Ineffective players have just been replaced by even weaker ones.

posted about a year ago

So, has FURIA become a great team after firing Carlao? In the last few games they have struggled against TIRE2 teams and I don't think they are hopeful by any means.

ZETA was rumored to have also considered Elaveted by ACEND. However, taking him more than a year away from the competitive scene would not have done much.

Do you know what type of players are dominant in GameChangers in the NA Region?

She was dominant by every measure in Japanese Game Changers Split2 playoffs.
I don't know much about her, is she a transgender or non-binary player who seems to dominate others in regions such as NA? Or is she more like Malibu?

The demands of the tier2 scene that bcJ and others are talking about are ultimately jealousy of the losers.
In MLB, even if the minor leaguers are treated badly, there are still great players coming up every year, right?
The tier2 scene is a place to cultivate a hungry spirit. If they can make a living there, they will be satisfied.

They may have low ratings and K/D ratios, but they have sufficient reasons to be removed from this list.
Both of them are among the top 10 in terms of KAST in the league, and crow has a very high APR. It's undeniable that they are inferior compared to top players like stax, BuZz, d4v41, and xeta, but ZETA made it to the playoffs because they fulfill the necessary role as a support player.

Carlos Correa of the Minnesota Twins put it this way: "Booing and criticism are naturally accepted. This is also a part of baseball. Fans want players to perform well, and they want their favorite team to win. It's natural to be booed if you don't perform well."

I think VALORANT professionals are lacking the kind of spirit that would enable them to accept criticism like him.
