That's like comparing upper NY state to NYC.
Vancouver is dope, my uncle lives in Kitsilano. Lots of shopping, good barscene. That being said, it's super pricey compared to other places in BC. My sister is in Victoria, and you could make the argument it's pricey on the island too, but at least you don't have east hastings (homeless capital of canada) and such a dense population. Has all the same stuff Vancouver has too.
yeah i'm not comparing Van to the island, i've been to nanaimo and kno people whove grown up there and it sucks. Every time I go to the island, I take the nanaimo ferry, and drive as fast as I can through the city.
Also Victoria isnt Nanaimo, I would take Victoria > Nanaimo
Do not listen to this fake Canadian, you should visit and kiss the ground as soon as you reach Nanaimo, TenZ might have walked where you're kissing. Greatness.

I like your list.
San Fran is my favorite place I've gone to in North America. Beautiful landscape, cool people, nice weather.
One thing I'll say is Florence > Rome, if you ever go back to Italy. Way prettier, and it has better shopping imo.
How do you like stepping needles in SF and smelling poo in Mumbai?
