Champs 2024 Top 10 Players

I saw TMV's top 10 and thought it would be fun to do my own. I think this is a pretty fair list based on this year, but it's still super close between a lot of players. I'd honestly expect most of you to disagree with this list in some way, which is fine. Let me know your thoughts, and drop your top 10 at champs 2024.

Update: kingg, Mako, Woot, Meteor maybe deserve a spot. zekken is maybe a little high, and Sayf/Alfa is too low.

you can see in other regions so many players in a better moment than him like trexx derke woot riens hiro and munchkin

at the very least alfajer and sayf should be ranked better than him

That's fair enough, TenZ hasn't had a super high peak this year. I just put him higher up because he's been so consistently good this year. I think that deserves points over high peaks in my opinion.

the form sentinels are in, its hard to make an arguement for any of them to be on a top 10 list right now

I disagree, sure they lost a couple of games at the end of stage 2, but some of their players have put up good numbers across the whole year. They have had good enough numbers to be considered as top players.

I wanted to put MaKo on this list, but the form he's in while igling isn't the best, and Flashback while good, I don't think has done enough to warrant being on this list. Karon, I'll give you fs, he's definitely up there as one of the best.

Zekken should deffo be near the bottom, not saying he's bad but he's not better than those players especially chronicle

That's a fair point, but I think zekken is a little more consistent than Chronicle.

I honestly did not realize how good kingg has been across this year, but I find it a little hard to argue he's better than anyone on this list.

This is a crazy take icl, Mazino is good fs, but this gotta be SEN hating. Like for what reason is that duo better than TenZ and zekken?

It's a mixture, I hate Sen but Mazino went crazy is playoffs and his stats back it up but icy is doing so much in a team without a superstar. I know his stats don't look crazy but IMO he's doing everything to enable his teammates and that's where g2's success comes from

I get all this, but TenZ and zekken have literally been among the best players in every event they've played in this year. I can't see many duos being that consistent.

woot and kingg should be added. chronicle overrated, zekken overrated, tenz should be removed, and valyn should be in there somewhere off value alone.

Woot is overrated in my opinion though, but kingg is a fair point he has been pretty good this year. I just don't know who I'd switch him with on this list. Valyn is good as well, but I wasn't factoring in igling into account.

Zekken that high honestly makes no sense. I haven't seen TMV's list but if I see KangKang in another top 10 I'm calling bullshit. Yes he's mechanically excellent but we have no reason to believe EDG will be good this time around. There's got to be 10+ players to put in that top 10 over him.

First off, KangKang wasn't on his list. Second, I think zekken is massively underrated in terms of the impact he has. I get it though if people don't think he's that good.

This is the problem though because I although agree he's very good his stage 1 and stage 2 weren't that good, at least in comparison with other players on this list. I will say he has delivered internationally so maybe deserves a spot.
