it's between allegations and famous people in general
some famous people see their fame as a way to exploit others
while some seek to exploit the fame of others

My guess is that a famous person is more likely to suffer some form of a consequence than other people

its just because they have a level of fame and in a spotlight, same shit happens with actors and politicians and people like that

honestly tragic, but if you think about esports (electronic) is bound to have this many cases

due to its online nature, its bound to spread like wildfire and secrets are hard to keep online under either anonymity or less pressure to keep quiet

look at celebs. they are equally (if not worse) than the esports scene. therefore I assume that its not an esports thing, but a human nature thing where it happens everywhere, but esports merely gives more exposure to it.

its fucked

Agreed. Teens don't know Professionalism until they're older as well.

to be a high level athlete you need to be a little cold blooded (or a psychopath...)

real answer

esports players are generally nerds/outcasts that get a lot of clout out of nowhere and so the power goes to their head and they start doing egregious shit

you see this in other aspects of life too, the nouveau riche, people that come into money very quickly tend to be the trashiest with their spending (excessive luxury shit, flagrant spending habits, drugs, etc)

Does it really happen that often? I feel like that's an exaggeration. But if I were to throw my two cents in I'd say it might be because of esports players being anti-social/outcasts that have no idea how to interact with people or women in general. It's like that with gamers outside of professional gaming so that's my personal opinion.
