GEN.G 2025(?)

Do you think we'll see this GEN.G roster next year?

4/5 player contracts are ending in 2024(only Karon is locked until 2025). Meteor, Lakia, T3xture and Munchkin are set to be free agents for 2025.

Also, Karon is the only player from GEN.G who already completed his military service.

Munchkin is 26 yo and didn't do it yet(the biggest concern). T3xture is 25, Meteor is 24, Lakia is 23 yo, so they probably will keep playing Valorant next year

This being said, do you think this GEN.G roster will keep playing together in 2025?

Out of Korean Valorant orgs, probably only T1 can offer better salary and working conditions than GEN.G

karon has no military to worry about? bro is smart asf

Unless China buys them out for a huge amount of money, or even NA Orgs, they will stay in either GENG DRX or T1

if the vibes are good surely they stay together.

after that, i’m not sure; korea has plenty of talent to pick from so they’ll be in no shortage of upcoming players who they want to give a chance

if military service is gonna be an issue for munchkin later on, yoman would be a good replacement

these 5 will stay together for a while. They consider each other family at this point and one of the main reasons why they are so consistent and successful this year.

i think another year with munchkin and then bring in yoman or some other korean prospect (yoman makes the most sense since hes a proven igl that can flex like munchkin tho i think meteor or lakia could also igl to and extent so its up in the air)

If they win champs they won't stay together

Hope to see them together for at least one more year before they move on to other things.
